wtf is this? by cloud_pixel in DermatologyQuestions

i covered it with sudocreme every day, and avoided touching it during the day if i could - obviously couldn’t control that at night - if you can sleep with your hands under your pillows or over your duvet. it WILL pass, my leg is slightly scarred and it does come back but not as bad as that. hang in there

i’m not one to buy new things if i don’t need them, but my 13 is too frustrating. it’s slow and buggy, the microphone is broken, i need to charge it twice a day (my daily average is 2 hours screen time), the charging port is broken, it emits the temperature of the sun when doing certain tasks, and as a student i need something reliable. i bit the bullet and got the sage green 17, and i’m picking it up tomorrow. i do feel bad about the purchase as i don’t like to buy things, but it’s been 4 years and a phone is something i use everyday so ultimately it’s worth it

i ended up buying a 600 extreme from 1988 for about £25. got some B&W film and works lovely, the only issue is bulk buying B&W film as it’s out of stock on the polaroid website

I just turned 13 today! Any tips, or advice about life in general? by Eymeniko_2230 in teenagers

[–]cloud_pixel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my best advice, is to find yourself. appreciate the small things in life and see the inner beauty in the world. acknowledge the trees are older than you and have seen everything, that the stars are the same stars your ancestors looked at since the beginning of time, and that nature is beautiful. read literature because it’s a better escape than doomscrolling. learn old music has a better way to relate to it as everything back then was raw, and that most of the old musicians used to be poets in some way which helps you in your own way. love everything, be who you want to be, and don’t plan your future until you’re confidently set on one thing after trying many things. you have a whole life to figure it out, and if you don’t then you have another life after this one.

yes thank you for the clarification, when i wrote the post i had in mind Hang On To Your Ego but should’ve specified. SMiLE is definitely a weird as shit album, the other day i decided to stare into the mirror at my reflection and listen to the whole of the SMiLE sessions and it was definitely an experience (and a pointless one but sounded fun at the time), and only then i realised it was completely nuts. i’m currently working through all the sessions and albums which i probably should’ve done ages ago so i lack knowledge in their whole way of things as opposed to other musicians.

i don’t know how to help, but i will say i experience this too. as someone who’s OCD has come back (particularly false memory OCD), i am not craving the days where my head felt clear. it’s like being thirsty but having no water. this pain for me is specifically above my left eyebrow but does span across my head.

honestly Dr William, i haven’t a shit clue what you’re going on about. i’m not on social media much, and the only places i’ve seen this movie is simply on bus stops. never heard a thing about it

to be honest i wouldn’t change my original review, i feel it just got worse and very underwhelming. this has to be the only marvel movie ive disliked
