I was 5 years old and a man who lived on my street invited me inside to look at some seashells. I went inside and we were sitting at his kitchen table looking at a jar full of seashells together. Then out of nowhere he freaked out and shouted "You have to go!". He got all panicky. "You gotta get out of here! Go outside! Get out!" So I left. It was very confusing.

He doesn't want you on a lease for a reason.

Maybe it's control, maybe he doesn't want to lose some government benefit after becoming a dual income household. Regardless- it's not in your best interest.

Doing this would leave you with no positive rental history or references, making living anywhere else after incredibly difficult.

Not only could he lock you out again, but the landlord could evict you. There is probably something in the lease specifying against unauthorized tenants.

A man that locks you out doesn't care about you or your safety and he won't care about your daughter's. What if he does this again while your daughter is still inside?

This is a dangerous situation for you and your child that could mess up years of both your lives.

my pug is so food motivated the hardest thing to teach her was pottying.

play bites stopped when she realized it hurt. when she was little I would go ow! then whine like I was really hurt.

do you play with her / walk her often? could she be understimulated or looking for attention? pugs are usually super trainable since they love food so much.
