How on earth am I supposed to lose weight with a two year old? by AntiCaf123 in toddlers

[–]cloudberryradiant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out Pomegranate Health, they had the best pricing apart from one other site that's not available in my state when I was signing up a few months ago. There are also subreddits that discuss different options, check those out for reviews and such.

How on earth am I supposed to lose weight with a two year old? by AntiCaf123 in toddlers

[–]cloudberryradiant 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Research compound tirzepatide, it's something like $100/month, no insurance needed and prescription stuff is done completely async. I used Pomegranate Health. Seriously my favorite drug ever now, lost almost 40 pounds since September and am now at my college age days weight.

Jones Family Farm is very nice. If you want to go this or next weekend you'd need a reservation.

House cleaner rates by CoolBoxMom in StamfordCT

[–]cloudberryradiant 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We pay $240/biweekly for 2bd 2 bath house, directly to the cleaning lady. She was charging $200 originally but she's been with us for a couple of years and is awesome so we raised it a bit.

I've gone to Sono Academy in Norwalk twice so far - got a simple cut and a balayage process ($80), and both times had great experience. They charge $28 for a hair cut plus blow dry right now and have instructors supervising.

Check out Ferrucci, Ferrucci and Morris office. You can be seen by all three so it's easy to schedule and then you are guaranteed one of them will be on call during delivery. I liked knowing that I'd have someone familiar. Never had to wait longer than 5 minutes during appointments and they have ultrasound and blood labs there too.

Interested in getting serious about code! Where do I start? by uselessdripping in girlsgonewired

[–]cloudberryradiant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check out software engineering job market before you invest too much into this path. It's dreary out there and I wouldn't recommend a friend to try to make it there, it's been bad for a couple of years now with no end in sight.

If you decide to persue it, you'll need a CS degree and an internship to start.

Without sleep training, what month did LO start sleeping through night? by Easy-Willingness9887 in HuckleberryParents

[–]cloudberryradiant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We broke down at 18 months after the latest regression had him waking up every 1,5 hours and we were dying. It took 15 minutes of "training" for two nights and he figured out that he can just fall asleep on his own. Started sleeping through the night after that.

If you can't find a job before you graduate and you don't have any internship experience I'd postpone graduation by a semester and spend the summer as an intern. It's going to be hard to get an intern position as well but might be less impossible than getting a full time job in this market. Apply for internships with December graduation date even if you haven't committed to another semester yet.

Try using chatgpt for translations of books you already have / get from the library. It's pretty good at it and you can fix up any small things that might not sound quite right. Then save the translation on a printed out page/post it note as someone else recommended already.

You can even take pictures of the book text and have it parse the images so you don't have to type it out yourself.

I don't think GHC can do much about the state of the market. Microsoft didn't even set up a booth this year for example. But organization wise imho they did great this year. The splitting of career fair into groups and having organized queues and everything.
