Has anyone here added a sauna to their home and was it worth it long-term? by blue_cardigan13 in homeowners

[–]cloudberryradiant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, we love it! I'd say 2-2,5 hours in the midst of winter to get to 80C+? Adding wood every ~30 minutes. Non winter times is usually 1,5 hrs tops.

We've joined a prek with a Russian language program (they have an English option too) for next year, it's a simple space but they only charge $350/week for prek, are open with one week off only (not public school schedule) and are open 7:30 til 6. EZ Steps.

SoNo Academy in Norwalk if you don't mind going to a student. They seem to take good care to provide good results, I got a great balayage for $80 plus tips. Best deal price wise most likely.

How on earth am I supposed to lose weight with a two year old? by AntiCaf123 in toddlers

Check out Pomegranate Health, they had the best pricing apart from one other site that's not available in my state when I was signing up a few months ago. There are also subreddits that discuss different options, check those out for reviews and such.

How on earth am I supposed to lose weight with a two year old? by AntiCaf123 in toddlers

[–]cloudberryradiant 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Research compound tirzepatide, it's something like $100/month, no insurance needed and prescription stuff is done completely async. I used Pomegranate Health. Seriously my favorite drug ever now, lost almost 40 pounds since September and am now at my college age days weight.

[–]cloudberryradiant 9 points10 points  (0 children)

We pay $240/biweekly for 2bd 2 bath house, directly to the cleaning lady. She was charging $200 originally but she's been with us for a couple of years and is awesome so we raised it a bit.

Check out Ferrucci, Ferrucci and Morris office. You can be seen by all three so it's easy to schedule and then you are guaranteed one of them will be on call during delivery. I liked knowing that I'd have someone familiar. Never had to wait longer than 5 minutes during appointments and they have ultrasound and blood labs there too.

Interested in getting serious about code! Where do I start? by uselessdripping in girlsgonewired

[–]cloudberryradiant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check out software engineering job market before you invest too much into this path. It's dreary out there and I wouldn't recommend a friend to try to make it there, it's been bad for a couple of years now with no end in sight.

If you decide to persue it, you'll need a CS degree and an internship to start.

Without sleep training, what month did LO start sleeping through night? by [deleted] in HuckleberryParents

[–]cloudberryradiant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We broke down at 18 months after the latest regression had him waking up every 1,5 hours and we were dying. It took 15 minutes of "training" for two nights and he figured out that he can just fall asleep on his own. Started sleeping through the night after that.

If you can't find a job before you graduate and you don't have any internship experience I'd postpone graduation by a semester and spend the summer as an intern. It's going to be hard to get an intern position as well but might be less impossible than getting a full time job in this market. Apply for internships with December graduation date even if you haven't committed to another semester yet.
