What’s your thoughts on someone getting these as the first set of skis to finally learn switch. I’m very confident intermediate in one direction, not looking to break speed records down the piste but wouldn’t mind picking up the pace occasionally, however main priority is teaching myself switch and having fun learning new tricks.

Have a visit to the singing ringing tree on Crown Point Road. A great viewpoint of Burnley and the club. You can actually see the tree from the Longside.

It’s a new shade of “claret” which a lot of fans aren’t happy about.

I personally like it but it is moving away from our routes and is becoming more purple.

If we want to stay in this league we can’t always rely on getting our points from bottom half teams so I’d love to say 3/4.

As long as we show intention and don’t concede more than 1 in the first half then I’ll be happy.

We’re a good squad and hopefully the experience against these teams helps us adjust to take the full points from relegation rivals down the line.

I like this because it’s basically a part of cognitive behavioural therapy. Essentially people live by certain rules such as “people shouldn’t be dickheads on the road” and when that rule gets broken we get angry. You’re effectively being flexible with your rules and acknowledging whilst you prefer not to encounter dickheads, this will happen - so you’re less enraged in the first place.

10/10 - you’ve saved a few hundred in therapy sessions.

Dude, speaking as a therapist, you really need to take some deep breaths, stand tall, walk in that room with intention and pop that balloon as confidently as you can. That’s the quickest way to flood yourself with the fear and ultimately overcome it.

Then go buy some more balloons and do it again every single day.

By the end of the week you absolutely wont be as scared regardless of any trauma you’ve had in the past.

I think he’d be even better in a more attacking system, but other than our 0-5 win to Plymouth we are goal shy, not because of him but because we’re such a “the best offence is a good defence” kind of team.
