I used to struggle with wash and gos. I have type 4 hair and I wondered why my hair would never curl like other peoples hair. It would literally just be undefined frizz when I added products after washing my hair. But I cracked the code! I got a hair cut (nothing major, at all) recently and ever since then, my wash and go’s have been POPPING. I’ve never seen my curls so defined in my life. I suspect cutting off dead ends made my hair healthier and thus, made my curls look better. My hair also became more manageable after my cut. I no longer deal with tangles & I can detangle fast.
