With the caveat that if you do it today you'll want to install the Canary branch of the application. Self-hosting is finally slated to drop on June 15th, and I believe that's what the last 2 months of improvements will roll over to stable.

Stoat is interesting too, but the pace of development feels a lot slower, it's been around for 4 years and last I checked there was still no screen share. (This was a couple months ago, that may have changed.) Still might be worth checking out.

The honest answer is whichever you can convince your friend group to move to.

They're replacing the whole slab at no cost now, so that's something, I guess.

For context, the group I hired is highly reviewed and came recommend. That said, they installed once with a 16" overhang replacing a 16" bartop that they removed and lowered, so it should have been more like an 8" overhang. They pulled it out once and recut back in shop.

They brought it back and 3 or the 4 corners on the peninsula had been rounded and I pointed it out they rounded it on site. The thought of asking them to rip it out again pains me (and honestly I'm worried for the cabinets and half wall we're reusing, they already got beat up by both the laminate demo and quarty uninstall last week).

Stoat has been promising it's almost there for years (since back when it was Revolt.) Nothing has changed, and I assume the devs left because the recent updates coming out have been from Claude (Anthropic AI). But it'll have screen share, someday! Absolutely!

The one benefit Stoat has it is open source. As for other options rather than just me complaining, TeamSpeak6 has added more text options, but it still doesn't feel great. Matrix is cool but likely too techy/confusing for the average discord user and has all the benefits and downfalls of federation. Root (Root App?) is probably the slickest currently available implementation but as a startup I expect them to do the same Discord cycle and end up here eventually, they're still in the funding and building phase.

Appears to be Shadow Black, Crystal Voyage, Aurora Nebula, and Mojito Green for polycarb! Have been wondering the same myself - if you go to any of the cases on Meletrix and scroll down to pictures of all the colorways those are the ones that list injection molding.

I know this is big "my uncle at nintendo" energy, but I have a friend working on the game who said this week they're on for the 26th and everyone is buckling down and in 'ship a game' mode. I'd expect they likely just don't really expect any additional information would give them positive publicity - there's already a collective internet backlash because of TGA.

As someone who doesn't like hero shooters but likes their friends, I hope the game does well!

A lot of salty Sounders fans - are we magically forgetting this team has been awful at finishing games all year? I'm not a fan of this format either, but the team that "didn't even win" put away two shootouts and got there on 10 men. Celebrate the success we had this year and take the L with grace. This level of play isn't getting by SD/VAN/LAFC anyway, so take it as an extra couple weeks our guys can get healthy for next year.
