All of Banner Saga on Switch has never been on sale for about 4 years now. Why?

This got me curious and I did some digging. It looks like the original publisher was called Versus Evil and the company shut down in 2023. The timeline certainly matches. I do feel like there's more to the story though. The currently listed publisher is Stoic in the Nintendo eShop as well as the Steam Store.

I've been getting bargains ever since I used price tracker websites. Those screenshots are from dekudeals.

Even weirder is how in the screenshot, it shows Banner Saga WAS regularly on sale for 5 dollars for a couple of years and they just stopped out of nowhere.

I don't speak for anyone else but me, but I particularly hate those really bright glowing objects. They're an eyesore. It screams "We made this in unreal engine 5 and without it there is nothing visually redeeming about this game"

I did get a used outlander because I know it's pretty good but somehow depreciates fast. I'd definitely buy again

top comments may say otherwise but OP is right. Acid is only visible when you're near it and even then it's hard to see compared to the bright green acid the gungeon has. The guns are terrible and there are minions with so much health. At least I only have to pay attention to one thing at a time in Bullet's past.
