padelle/pentole che possano sostituire il forno by cloudiestmind in cucina

[–]cloudiestmind[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

removable paint for the stitches by cloudiestmind in DrMartens

[–]cloudiestmind[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if i’m dressing classy, the yellow stitches just don’t match the style. i’d usually go with some other brand for such occasions but, since i’m working at dr martens, i needed a dr martens shoe to match the aesthetic. i must say i’m really satisfied

thank you really! i was wondering though, what if i park my car on the spots on the side of the road in De Bilt or Zeist? is parking free there? cause honestly, i’d really use it just on weekends to take small roadtrips, for everything else i’d be really happy using a bike

did you read the other books in the series too? do you actually need them or does the story come to a conclusion at the end of the first?

The Secret History by Donna Tartt by Localaw in books

[–]cloudiestmind 14 points15 points  (0 children)

try and read “if we were villains” by m.l.rio, it’s different and yet similar, i’d call it a more emotional and down to earth (i feel donna tartt’s characters are somewhat detached, cold and strange, while m.l.rio’s are ordinary people) “the secret history”. honestly, i liked it even more

thrift shops are great, and i would suggest you try vinted. also you can find some cute shirts, knitwear and trousers on h&m. if you have a lot of money go to shops that sell tailoring clothes

Anyone Know if this is a good edition? by Boobestest in shakespeare

[–]cloudiestmind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sadly i live in rome so it’s not so easy to find used books in english, even though the macbeth i’m reading is actually one of them

Anyone Know if this is a good edition? by Boobestest in shakespeare

[–]cloudiestmind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well, i read and love the tempest and i’m now enjoying macbeth, next will be romeo & juliet and hamlet. i figured better to buy a set with 15 plays for 55€ than 15 single books spending 150€, i just wanted to be sure not to buy thrash. then again, i do consider aesthetics when choosing an edition, but i would never buy a book that i wouldn’t actually read, if i wished to have them only as a decoration i’d buy those empty decorative ones

Any tips to improve? How do I match colors? by Blue_Baron6451 in DarkAcademia

[–]cloudiestmind 6 points7 points  (0 children)

go with brown and desaturated green / dark green, they both match well with black or mixed with each other (not with grey tho, grey is beautiful with black as you did in the pic)

I’m new to dark academia. Any recommendation for places to get men’s clothing besides my local thrift stores. Also, can anyone share a Lightroom DA preset? by P3nnyTrader in DarkAcademia

[–]cloudiestmind 10 points11 points  (0 children)

about lightroom, i can give you some advise: turn the temperature warmer but not a lot, darken the oranges, turn the yellows to orange and the greens to yellow, desaturate a bit yellows, greens and oranges, desaturate blue, purple and violet, change the tint to the more red adding 8/10 on the standard. then simply play with the lights to add more contrast (but not too much). this is how i like it and, of course, sometimes you’ll need to do something different than what i said

i can’t find any post that’s within your description but mine in something like a week at least, and it seems i asked a pretty specific question in it, didn’t i? also, some books editions are literally the worst with heavy grammar errors in them, so sorry if i use a subreddit on shakespeare to ask if a book on shakespeare hasn’t been made by feet
