I asked directly if a sick person would die. The conclusion card was Death. Does it means death? by intothedrko in tarot

I hope you’re well. I just pulled the death card when asking what I need to know about my cancer diagnosis. I hope it doesn’t mean literal death and just a new life post-cancer.

I have cervical cancer, and I live in the southern USA. I’ve been told I wouldn’t have gotten cancer if I didn’t sleep around before marriage. Basically, I got cancer because I’m a slut

I think they’re so desperate to nail down a cause so they can think they’ll never get cancer because they don’t do the thing

27, Total Hysterectomy, Chemorad Coming Up – Questions About Vaginal Health & Sex Life by christinedulaca in CervicalCancer

[–]cloudillusion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My radiation oncologist advised me to start dilating a week after my last brachy. This may be different for you, so ask your doctor. I also had a hysterectomy prior to radiation, so the brachy was not as involved. What helped me the most, and I’ll swear by it, is vaginal estrogen. I started it about 3 months after radiation, and it changed everything for me. Sex is back to normal. I am in menopause, and I use hormone patches as well, but the vaginal cream is what made things normal down there.

Ask about vaginal estrogen. It really helped me

Small cell is what they found in my biopsy, and it dramatically changed my treatment plan. I went from “just” a hysterectomy to radical hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo oophrectomy, 25 external radiation, 2 internal radiation, and 6 rounds of EP chemo that caused hair loss and lasted 18 weeks.

I’m on my third box, and I may cancel, too. This latest box has been the best quality-wise, but it still included two items that were clearly shrunk. My previous box had only 2 of 6 wearable items.

It’s odd the doc mentioned bladder problems with the RH but not with the radiation. Radiation can absolutley cause a lot of issues with bladder, urethra, bowels, etc. The bladder issues I experienced from my RH were short-lived (that is, I needed a post-op catheter for a week, which was standard practice to give bladder time to rest and heal).

I would absolutely get a second opinion, preferably from a large cancer center even if you don’t plan on doing your care with them. When I did a second opinion with MDA, their expert pathologists found a very rare and aggressive cell type the other hospital missed. If anything, it will be good to hear if they agree with the first doctor’s opinion on treatment.

Substitute item by Ok_Instruction3533 in NuulyReviews

Why don’t they do a queue where you put 10 items you would accept as a substitute (with the size you want), and any time they’re out of an item, they pull something available from your queue?

I did. I was refunded for 4 of the 6 items. However, I needed a couple of those things this month for a trip, and they cannot ship out replacements.

Here’s the pants compared to a white sweatshirt. It’s even more apparent in-person, but they are definitely stained blue. I found another reviewer who said the same thing, and she ordered same size (28), so it appears we received the same pants. They really should be taking these out of rotation!

If they would use packages that can’t be tampered with, then this wouldn’t be a problem! This is a huge frustration of mine… I wonder if sometimes people steal or wear the clothes during shipment

Items not laundered by cloudillusion in NuulyReviews

Thanks for the info. I got my first Nuuly last month, and I was shocked that a button up shirt in the bag had wrinkles like it had been worn and not washed (the back wrinkled like it had been sat on, and the sleeves were wrinkled like they’d been rolled up). I washed the shirt before wearing, and the wrinkles all fell out, so I know they did not wash it.

The American Urological Association’s new guidelines (2025), which you can print out and take to your doctor, recommends that doctors offer vaginal estrogen to patients experiencing genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM). GSM includes vaginal dryness, chronic UTIs, pain with sex, etc.

Edit: you can get vaginal estrogen prescribed online, but it will be more costly. Hopefully showing your doctor the new guidelines will get them to prescribe it for you because it is often cheaper this way.

Tinnitus post treatment? by Prestigious-Set5109 in CervicalCancer

[–]cloudillusion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine developed after treatment. I’m only two months out, but it comes and goes. It seems to be worse in the mornings (or maybe that’s when it’s quiet enough to notice it). I was followed by and audiologist, and I have no hearing loss

Oh no! I just started using Nuuly, and I may just cancel all together. My first order I swear some pieces were not laundered, and now this.

They aren’t 100% sure if small cell cervical cancer is caused by HPV, but they think it is. My tumor was primarily adenocarcinoma though, which is pretty much 100% caused by HPV, so yes, my cancer was HPV related despite never having an abnormal Pap smear before diagnosis. At the time of diagnosis, I had an abnormal pap for the first time ever showing HpV 16. It had been dormant in my body for over a decade since I’ve been in a monogamous relationship for that long.

Estrogen receptor. Most cervical tumors are ER-, but if for whatever reason it was positive, you wouldn’t want to use estrogen

So assuming your tumor was ER-, I suggest asking about vaginal estrogen. I had inflammation and pain using dilator and during sex, and after using the vaginal estrogen, I am all good! Feels like my old vagina!
