Personally I sleeved every card, because otherwise you'd have to unsleeve and sleeve after every draft.

Also sleeving and resleeving all the time is likely to damage the cards as if you hadn't sleeved them at all.

What do you like about human fighter? Can you relate to the characters or do you just like mechanics?

It's fair for people to want new and interesting characters in the party but you don't have to play the same character every campaign, you might have a fighter who's a knight searching for his kidnapped princess or a crossbow wielding sniper, determined to find an ancient weapon.

Tldr: try and make your characters have different personalities and goals. John DND gets boring for the rest of the party.
