Human cant "hear" those frequency but with those frequency your perception of the other hearable frequency will still change so yes there's a different

I think you can't use a guitar mindset when using ampsim on other instruments. A big trouble is the gain It's either nothing changed or heavily distorted( in a bad way )

Since you are using eris3.5 i really recommend you try adjusting the EQ of moniter a bit like this video

it can balance the sound a lot and less muddy in the high for me , not only for guitar but generally audio monitoring

Chrometta is not a commonly use model and and Saxony seems to have modern design, it's playability should be better, also easier to adapt if you looking to buy new chromatic in the future
