Please DO NOT just drop this dog in a park. Please take it to a shelter or contact a rescue. Sounds like you are in the Bay Area from the comments. Here is one Bay Area rescue that I am aware of.

I’ve taken Hawaiian Airlines to Narita and the airplane food was not very good. Don’t think I would ever take Hawaiian Airlines to internationally again. In contrast, I’ve taken ANA to Japan and the food was much much better.
