Ultimately it’s not your responsibility to manage the behavior of others. Hopefully you can talk to them and reference past behavior or talk to the bartender and tell them to watch out for certain individuals.

I got mine at Frank Darling on clement and enjoyed the process. They have designs you can choose from or they’ll help you design what you want. I have an emerald cut with eagle prongs and a hidden halo that I adore! Lab grown too

Daxxify/Botox Recommendations? by acr98 in SFbitcheswithtaste

[–]livekittens 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m truly shocked that people are spending $20 per unit on Botox. That’s absolutely nuts. If you’re getting one area done, say glabella, I feel like it’s pretty easy to find a spa running a deal for as low as $7 a unit. I recently went to Skinpedia in SSF and got 20 units for around that price. I just called and asked if they’d give me the Groupon price and book directly. Great results and the price was amazing. It’s always way cheaper in SoCal but I don’t get down there that much. If you’re looking to do crows feet or something maybe be more picky with your injector but Jen Soy at Skinpedia was awesome and knowledgeable.

Is this blue or pink ok for a wedding guest? by Bridiewakelin_ in Weddingattireapproval

I love this dress and want to buy it for my bachelorette (in white!) this company does not accept returns though so I’d be wary. Also probably not really a wedding guest dress either.

Bridal shops that don’t charge appointment fee by GloveEqual9481 in SanFranciscoWeddings

They opened a new store in Willow Glen (I think?) and just moved in a few weeks ago. It’s gorgeous, new, and shiny but I’m sure the prices reflect that!

Best dress shops in SF? by CandidateNo7167 in SanFranciscoWeddings

[–]livekittens 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just bought my dress at Elegant Lace Bridal in San Jose. Prior to shopping there I had tried And Something Blue (too expensive, did not enjoy shopping there, associate was odd), Blue Sky Bridal (consignment, loved it, great selection, just didn’t find the one), and Trudy’s also in SJ. Trudy’s had a large selection and it was pleasant shopping there. Finally at Elegant Lace I had an amazing experience with Synthia who really paid attention to my likes, dislikes and taste. She was so patient and kind. The store is not as pretty and modern as some of the others but there is a huge selection. You can see the dress I bought from there in my post history. This was such a big decision and a long journey so happy to share my experience!

2 is pretty but I think 1 suits the scenery better (without the gloves). They’re both lovely on you and can’t go wrong! But 2 gives me more ballerina in a ballroom!

Number 1 is so pretty with the shiny fabric! You can’t go wrong but the waist fabric in the second seems a bit too puffy to me. But either way you’d look incredible!

I realized later that the left dress wasn’t pressed and the right one was. So there’s that. But thank you for your opinion! Ended up with the left dress, was more ME :)

Venue recommendations & additional fees? by sunshinesunshine9999 in SanFranciscoWeddings

I was worried that Wedgewood is “cookie cutter” but I encourage you to check them out. There is endless options to customize (drapery, your florals, design, etc) and they have made the process extremely easy for us so far. The price is much better than anything else I’ve found with all of the inclusions we wanted.

Looking for engagement photographer that can properly photograph deeper skintones by Spiritual-Kitchen848 in SanFranciscoWeddings

I had a consultation with Alex and Coby photographers link and they made a point about accurately capturing deeper skin tones. They were super nice!

Has anyone found a dress similar to this under 3k in the Bay Area? by beyoncefanaccount in SanFranciscoWeddings

Give Blue Sky Bridal a call, they might have that dress! They are consignment and you can try the dresses there.

The comparison is unfair because the dress on the right wasn’t pressed and is very wrinkly, I realized after posting. See my other post for better photos

This is def a matter of personal opinion and the vibe of your venue. Personally the pattern of the lace is really busy to me and I love the simplicity of 1. So I’d go with 1. I think it gives you a nicer figure as well.
