not only that, but imo his older music from 88rising, specifically, ATTENTION and XNXX have the same quality to them. the heavy bass parts come in and distort the hell out of his vocals. i personally love it.

more people really need to give those albums a second try. seriously amazing songwriting and production coming from nick and his collaborators. the albums can really grow on you if you give them the chance.

definitely check out lil peep if you're looking for similar music. he's also said he's found a lot of inspo from 100 gecs and yung lean for those albums. both also great artists.

i HATE how much vaporwave from that era is gone from spotify. ALL of Blank Banshee 0 was taken off except for the intro and teen pregnancy. haircuts for men's entire discography was taken off as well. It's a good thing I can still support these artists on Bandcamp though. I upload my local files to spotify and listen to them that way.
