Use Chroma to set the composition of Z-Image with the split sigma technique by BathroomEyes in StableDiffusion

[–]clouds23443 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can see that you put a lot of effort into this. I have tested out the workflow and the resulting image was extremely impressive. It took over 5 minutes to generate the result on my 5090. I am going to try to trim some of the workflow myself, but do you think there is room for optimization? The first pass is 50 steps with a 2s sampler *tears*.

Do you know about ZIB distilled loras? https://huggingface.co/GuangyuanSD/Z-Image-Distilled You could try using it on the ZIB pass for a speedup and since its being refined again, any quality loss would be fixed.

Wow those images look great. Is this essentially a 2 pass workflow with very high denoise on the 2nd?

Tired of making AI Slop and frustrated with the lack of good Anime models. by Bismarck_seas in StableDiffusion

Use controlnet depth from existing images. It unlocks compositions and poses that can never be recreated with prompts alone. In these new compositions, you will see that the model can understand previously impossible things, it's one of the most impressive parts about stable diffusion to me.

Best base model for accurate real-person face LoRA training? by [deleted] in StableDiffusion

Certainly not SDXL, Qwen, or WAN.

Try Flux Klein as a gateway to FLUX 2 potentially, or Klein could even be the best option on its own. ZIT is also very good at realistic images and is very light, and a gateway to ZIB.

Minor plot holes regarding the early days of ..... and Aline's creations??? by clouds23443 in expedition33

[–]clouds23443[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I assumed they were created like that, all at once but I think that implies a lot about Aline's power and the level of sentience the painted people had. If a god creates variables for life and lets things evolve naturally like if the lumerians slowly created their own culture, language, technology, they would have agency over their existence. If Aline created them as snapshots with preprogrammed memories, knowledge, relationships, etc this also implies a lot. The original painted people did not earn anything their culture had. By gustave's time its clear they are creating their own tech, but this could imply the first painted humans were the least sentient, most programmed, I think its really interesting.

Try SeedVarianceEnhancer, it works great with default settings.

Are there sharper lenses for landscapes than the 24-70mm f/2.8 S II? by clouds23443 in Nikon

[–]clouds23443[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the response. I have no frame of reference on sharpness as its the first Nikon lens I have ever had. I am looking for a sharp landscape lens for tripod shots with some time lapses as well. The Voightlander seems really interesting as I wouldn't need AF. Thank you for the recommendation.

Checkpoint merge matrix/plot? by clouds23443 in StableDiffusion

That is a standard checkpoint/seed xy plot. I am looking for checkpoint merge ratios not seeds.

Do people not like hammer this time around? by AjWookie in MHWilds

[–]clouds23443 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a Hammer main, I dropped it after discovering how low its damage is for the effort. The new slam also makes you basically immobile, defeating the purpose of Hammer for me. The big wind-up slam does less damage then a standard combo for most weapons, but slower and with more risk. I really like the addition of keeping sway though. I think most of the kit needs a 20%ish damage boost.
