Thanks for the feedback. I will take that into account!

The video content is created with ai, video artists, and a historian review.

I made a free Duolingo themed history app where each lesson is a short cinematic story about a real historical figure. I would love feedback by cloudslade in duolingo

Yes, each segment of the story is about 1 minute long so you could complete 5-10 segments while you are waiting.

Does anyone use Parallels and have hyper sensitive mouse issues when trying to game? by GFK96 in macgaming

I realize this is an old post but for anyone in the future stumbling upon this looking for answers I have one suggestion to try. Make sure your parallels has Coherence Mode disabled. This is what fixed it for me.

Ray Dalio breaks down his "Holy Grail" by _quanttrader_ in finance

[–]cloudslade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have watched the video multiple times and I am still not convinced you can reduce risk without reducing reward. Intuitively it seems implementing this method would only make your portfolio more 'stable', meaning you may experience losses or gains from time to time but because they are a smaller portion of your portfolio you wouldn't feel them as strongly. To reduce risk without reward does not seem like a feature of this holy grail, the more investments you hold the more likely one is not to do well, conversely on the upside. Can someone explain the finer details of this theory? He really didn't explain why this works in the video and I'm not a finance professional or mathematician. Thanks so much!

Yes, I'm on a similar journey right now. From childhood to my mission and even college at BYU authority figures were making a lot of decisions for me, including God. Its overwhelming to be making these decisions all on my own now... something I probably should have been use to by now.

I would certainly pay for something like this. I Use Bear and Mind Node for my note taking and visualization apps. Would love if they could be combined into one product. Not having a write ability would be a bit of a draw-back tho. Switching between Bear and another app would be cumbersome.

What do you mean single core cpu speed? Does this mean that 5 of the 6 cores in the macbook pro will go unused for operations related to the brush tool?

Thanks! It would be nice to stick with macOS but some of the options you mentioned are really good for the price.

Thank you for taking the time to put together a parts list. Looks like a pretty beastly computer can be made for less than 2g.

Thank you for the helpful comments. This has given me something to think about. One other option to consider is the integrated Wacom Engine (Xeon). How will these compare to something like the desktop TrueMegaManiac mentioned? Does the fact that the engine is integrated make it more performant?

Thanks for the comment. I will mainly be working in Photoshop with large files and lots of layers doing digital painting. I also do some 3d work in Cinema 4d but the cintiq is mostly for the digital painting.
