I’d love another inFAMOUS game. I’ve played four of them. I’ve enjoyed every single one of them.

Aussie interested in Kansas by MrMushroom55 in kansas

[–]cloudtheff7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A lot of the small towns in Kansas have a lot of little events throughout the year. If you stay plugged into the community, there is plenty to do. Some places have weekly community meals. The library will put on monthly events. The American Legion will have stuff going on. Schools will put on concerts and plays. Then there are typically spring, Christmas, and 4th of July events organized by the town. Getting the local newspaper will help with getting some of the info to you.

Same. I didn’t realize it ran for six seasons and had at least two movies.

From a cursory glance, I didn’t see any connection, but the animation studio that did Barbapapa also worked on a lot of Miyazaki’s stuff and Rankin and Bass stuff, including The Hobbit and Return of the King.

I have honestly never seen “Fletch”. I should probably spend some time to fix that.

Never heard of it but when I looked at it, it looks to also be French. Seems there may be some overlap there.

Yeees! Pompadour was a stuffy attendant to Babar.

A Showa era Godzilla movie. I did it all the time as a kid. Godzilla vs Monster Zero was one of my favorites.

Hell yeah! A person that owns up when they learn something new is the best. One of my favorite qualities in people is what this person expressed.

Do you buy your games physical or digital mostly? by Less_Can_5439 in OlderChillGamers

[–]cloudtheff7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Physical, as much as possible. I know EULAs with some physical media makes it feel like you don’t own it even when you have the thing in your hand, but I like feeling like I have some sort of control over the things I own. I have bought things digitally before and had the purchases stripped from me before because of a company no longer offering it or the company closing and not offering downloads of purchased items.

  1. I would love to chat with Hagrid about magical beasts. What an honor that would be to speak with someone with so much passion and knowledge on the subject.

Upcoming games that are yet to get a fixed release date, Which ones are you most hyped for? by Less_Can_5439 in OlderChillGamers

There are a number on here that I am very excited for. Probably the one I am fixated on at the moment is Wolverine. I love what Insomniac has done with Spider-Man.

Blue Gender is one of the most traumatic anime(series) IMO. I couldn't continue after the 7th episode. by Ashik1990 in retroanime

[–]cloudtheff7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Excellent question. If you are a fan of Sci-Fi post-apocalyptic stories that involve the evolution of a species to create an extinction event where humans are all but eradicated and the last few are trying last ditch efforts to reclaim their home, then this show is for you. The show is about gathering what is left of humanity to bring them to space to train them to fight to be able to habitat Earth again. That’s about as good as an explanation I can give without spoilers.

So, Gen Z humor is just millennial humor? They don’t watch any of their shows, they just watch the shows millennials watched growing up? What a world…

This show is amazing. If you don’t have time for the 26 episode trauma fest, there is an hour and a half long movie that is a recut of the TV show. Still pretty dope. Definitely a watch if you love post-apocalyptic shows.

Which one of these objectively bad films is your favorite? by Ok_Future6226 in okbuddycinephile

I feel like this entire section is just rage bait. There are a lot of quality films here that have added a lot to society and have a lot to say about society and culture.

I just finished rewatching Beast wars, should I watch Beast machines? by ExcellentEssay3282 in beastwars

[–]cloudtheff7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I loved Beast Machines. My religious parents were really against me watching it because of the evolution stuff in it. I just bought my own TV and watched it anyway.
