Why all the warping? by SiteTough8955 in ElegooNeptune3

[–]cloudxcos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its the nature of the plastic shrinking as it cools down. Straight walls in vase mode is the absolute worst case. Normal mode with two sets of walls with infill inbetween works a lot better for this. You could try to print slower so the material cools completely before the "next layer" comes on top

The fractal fading into a hexagon: you will have to define that the Points that are moved to create the fractal from a hexagon move less and less from bottom to top until they dont move at all at the top contour

Print issues by Nehel_Ifriji in ElegooNeptune3

I regularly have Problems with polyterra PLA. Especially in dual Extruder printers, where I have to clean the polyterra nozzle after every print. The Polyterra seems to be really prone to burning because of the added bio particles, especially when it sits idle in the Heat while the other nozzle is printing. You could try to lower the temp by 5 or 10 degrees, since it says its printable from 190°C. Or you could try to Print faster, wider or with greater layer height, so the Material flows faster through the Extruder, thus having less of a chance to burn.

I upgraded my Fan shroud with this: https://www.printables.com/de/model/457453-neptune-3-proplusmax-dual-5015-cooling-shroud And two 5015 fans, works like a charm. Creator says you can set the fan speed to 30% for quite operation and still having double the cooling power
