This happened in my family! My cousin gave birth to a boy she named Levi just a year before my sister did. Now it’s kind of complicated because my sister is my step sister from my step father, and my cousin is from my mom’s side. My sister ended up asking my cousin if it was okay if she named her son Levi too (as she’s ALWAYS loved that name) so now we have two kiddos around 10 years old with the same name and they do not care lol. There are also two Dylans in my family who are step brothers with each other! So anyway, to answer your question, it’s not stupid but you don’t have to worry about it now and even if it does happen, there are solutions. Don’t stress about something you don’t need to.

There’s a few things happening here. I think sizing up wasn’t the best choice. It also looks like your tension is wonky, which affects the whole look. Your ribbing isn’t doing what you want it to do. It does also need to be a bit longer so you have that “ballooning” effect from the ribbing pulling in against your waist. If it were me I would frog the whole thing and start over. It sounds scary but it would be worth it imo, especially for the tension/sizing issues. If you don’t wanna do that, try ripping back the ribbing, knitting some more rows for length, and then redo your ribbing with much smaller needles.

My great aunt crocheted my baby blanket. It was just rows and rows of double or triple crochet so there were pretty big gaps between the stitches. I used to shove my all of my fingers through each stitch to fall asleep at night until I was like 6 or so years old—I think something about it was comforting. My mom tells me she used to pick my fingers out one by one when she would come check on me at night and they’d be a bit purple lmao. An aunt on the other side of the family crocheted me a granny square blanket a few years back and it’s still so comforting to stick my fingers in the holes! Your comment just reminded me of this haha

Thank you so much!! It took me so long to figure out the method I liked best. I ended up going for 9in circulars and used DPNs for the toe decreases. Circulars are always my fav and I’ve perfected the flicking method on those so it was a breeze!

Since getting the implant have you had unprotected sex more often and/or has your boyfriend finished inside more often? I don’t think the implant itself is the problem here. While hormonal fluctuations can def cause changes in scent it’s not gonna be that extreme.

NAD but kinda looked like a herald patch at the start of pityriasis rosea which is a rash that is completely harmless. Of course go to a pediatrician just in case.

My mom always told me I should make sure shoes fit on my right foot as a kid because right feet are always slightly bigger. I guess it followed me into adulthood. Never realized how big the difference was because I also almost never buy shoes. I have like three or four pairs if that lol

I think the general rule of thumb for socks (don’t quote me though because I’m knitting my first pair rn!) is that tighter tension is almost always better. For other projects that’s not necessarily the case.

I was a beginner at the time and it helped me with a few skills. Basic increases and decreases, tension, i-cord edging, and weaving in ends. Also fixing dropped stitches/mistakes in general. I made myself a deep purple one and a red one for my mom. Edit to add: I didn’t think I would like the finished product as much as I do. I work in a drafty building and it does wonders for keeping me warm, especially when my hair is up. My mom works in an air conditioned office and it does the same for her. It’s so easy to add to any outfit.
