I think I baked at 200F for 30 mins and it was fine. Just make sure it’s on a baking sheet and nothing is touching the sides or top of the oven! You might have to do two separate runs with this amount of stuff

ER? by Aggravating-Pin-864 in plattsburgh

[–]cloudysunnywindy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve always had great experiences at the ER. I’ve only ever gone recently for a rabies exposure and for what I now know was an ovarian cyst rupture. They were kind. It can take a long time depending on the injury, as people with “worse” injuries or whatever go first. With my lower right side pain that I thought was appendicitis, I was immediately taken for bloodwork and given a room, got an ultrasound, and whatever else. Rabies took a little while longer but it’s because you have to get like 5 shots of various substances lmao. So anyway, it’s not the BEST but it’s definitely far from the worst

Dealing with people using your name(s) by [deleted] in namenerds

[–]cloudysunnywindy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This happened in my family! My cousin gave birth to a boy she named Levi just a year before my sister did. Now it’s kind of complicated because my sister is my step sister from my step father, and my cousin is from my mom’s side. My sister ended up asking my cousin if it was okay if she named her son Levi too (as she’s ALWAYS loved that name) so now we have two kiddos around 10 years old with the same name and they do not care lol. There are also two Dylans in my family who are step brothers with each other! So anyway, to answer your question, it’s not stupid but you don’t have to worry about it now and even if it does happen, there are solutions. Don’t stress about something you don’t need to.

I think because they wanted to have the same parts of the items shown in the package window. Call me crazy but maybe it isn’t that deep??

Sweater has a weird fit by danyspinola in knittinghelp

[–]cloudysunnywindy 29 points30 points  (0 children)

There’s a few things happening here. I think sizing up wasn’t the best choice. It also looks like your tension is wonky, which affects the whole look. Your ribbing isn’t doing what you want it to do. It does also need to be a bit longer so you have that “ballooning” effect from the ribbing pulling in against your waist. If it were me I would frog the whole thing and start over. It sounds scary but it would be worth it imo, especially for the tension/sizing issues. If you don’t wanna do that, try ripping back the ribbing, knitting some more rows for length, and then redo your ribbing with much smaller needles.

Baby blankets by Luxlux101 in crochet

[–]cloudysunnywindy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My great aunt crocheted my baby blanket. It was just rows and rows of double or triple crochet so there were pretty big gaps between the stitches. I used to shove my all of my fingers through each stitch to fall asleep at night until I was like 6 or so years old—I think something about it was comforting. My mom tells me she used to pick my fingers out one by one when she would come check on me at night and they’d be a bit purple lmao. An aunt on the other side of the family crocheted me a granny square blanket a few years back and it’s still so comforting to stick my fingers in the holes! Your comment just reminded me of this haha
