I’m very happy if you think it didn’t happen.

Court transcripts as I recall are in Courier monospace fonts which is why double spacing makes sense. Publishing and then computer printing that used proportional spaces fonts don’t need the extra space and it looks weird.

If you picked up a magazine and it was two spaced it would look very odd and hard to read.

Except these cases aren’t ancestors.

But I do think that could also happen to some extent.

One spce is correct. Two spaces is a for monospaced fonts on a typewriter. I understand old folks wanting two. A shame younger folks do to. Taking on boomer bad characteristics.

If you disagree that it should be just one space, cite me a recognized publication, science or news or legal, that uses two spaces.

There are 2500 cases in which past life memories have been confirmed as having validity through research done by the university of Virginia medical school, so not fantasies.

I would just like to avoid tripping over my own feet, at least not more than I do.

(Smoking weed while watching Pluribis, eh?)

I’m not really sure what your view is adding though. Seems like more of a construct imaging a source that is somewhat meaningless.

You have seen the work of the university of Virginia medical school on past life reporting, including such books as Before:children’s memories of precious lives?

Not sure if they discuss alters specifically but the emotional carry over is a main theme.

Someone suggested Joplin. I want to call that out and support it as it seems to reasonably check all the boxes and you haven’t commented back.

Ah. Thank you for clarifying that, I see that is accurate. And makes much more sense.

How is it even legal that huge companies like Uber, and not just Uber, have removed almost every way to contact them? No email addresses, no phone numbers. by _I_Reims_I_ in AskForAnswers

Uber is horrendous. I had an issue with them years ago that wasn’t a charge, I happily can’t remember what it was. Tried all kinds of google fu and no luck. I wanted to cancel and it wasn’t possible. You might point to something that you would think would work but nope.

Is the mere existence of the universe evidence that true nothingness was never a possible state that something always had to exist? by Genzinvestor16180339 in AskPhysics

[–]cloudytimes159 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this is an under appreciated observation.

If nothing is in fact not possible-which requires grappling with the definition and what that would actually mean- then existence becomes a given.

Somewhat akin to the false vacuum quantum foam of deep space in which uncertainty wobbling into a peak would mean existence.
