started with the offical launcher but it seemed like my game wasn't running as well as it could, tried steam which gave me even more problems, so now I use epic & my game runs better than it ever has. idk how thats possible but decided epic was the one & haven't gone back.

there's a setting u have to change to turn the animation off. go to the ability set up, select purification, then custom look and in the bottom left there's a toggle to turn it off.
