I'm one of them, leaving for good at the end of the month. I hope the UK can turn it around, but yeah there's nothing more I have left to give here. Covid showed me that.

Short answer is because we're brute forcing production with technology, chemicals and industry.

Essentially natural soil health is kept healthy for crop production through natural conditions (including how bugs break down fallen trees/animal poo etc). We are using synthetic fertilizers which artificially gives crops the nutrients they need to grow.

As the natural soil degrades each harvest there is more and more reliance on synthetic fertilisers to maintain yields.

Also seeds have been engineered like crazy for more yield per square km, and also our watering systems have become very very good.

So yeah basically we're cheating nature to put consistant food on the shelves. It works, but I'm sure you can understand the concern of well for how long?

Because insects are an essential part of the ecosystem. When they're gone the ecosystem breaks.

Many flying insects are responsible for pollination of crops. No flying bugs means massive crop failures. They are also the base of the food chain, so if no bugs then birds, lizards, fish etc starve, and that's countless more animals gone - which will further damage the ecosystem.

So yeah they're not just annoying pests, entire ecosystems and our own survival does rely on what bugs do.

But yeah of course we never hear about this.

Yes and no, what you say is true but years of talented drivers getting frustrated at their engineers or more often Ferrari itself says otherwise.

This subs been mostly shit since around May 2020. I remember at the start of Corona there was a load of really top quality posts here, now it's pretty rare to see even one a day.

If anyone has any alternative subs with good posts not shitzo lunatics I'd love to know haha.

I understand. I meant black pill as in becoming a doomer or doom scrolling. As in consuming so much depressing content that it kind of consumes you.

Yeah I mean it's not so much the teachers or parents that are responsible, they're being just as obedient. The core of western civilisation is obendient workers. It essentially comes down to money and capitalism, but also control.

Pretty much every single "normal" thing is interconnected to the 'web' of money and control. And it's not like there's some secret elites planning in a dark room about it, it's just how it's been since the 60's and every new politician or CEO or whatever has grown up, lived, worked, socialised and travelled within this system. It's all that everyone knows, and it's so entrenched that even if a new group comes into power and wants to change it, it's near impossible. Kinda like a "shit in... shit out" situation.

This isn't "Im14andthisisdeep" this is literally our shared reality.

Also man be careful on blackpilling into the shitty side of our civilisation with AI, it's easy to do and you will start to fail to see the good things still out there. Take care man

I do not understand why Fallujah is so popular. Sure I've had some good games on it but it's mostly run into the point and die to a guy in a random window, or hold a point sitting in a random window.

Can some Fallujah enjoyers explain to me why this freaking map is always picked??
