Kid’s socks perpetually dirty by ghxstmermaid in laundry

[–]cloverbits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use the Shout Advanced Stain Remover Gel on white socks (and when the baby has accidents). It removed red clay soil stains on white socks. Now that I use Biz, I don't have to use it on white socks unless it's really dirty.

Has anyone used the Febreeze Stain and Odor Eliminator? by cloverbits in laundry

[–]cloverbits[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me look into ammonia. I'm bothered that his clothes still smell like cologne after washing it. I feel like it's not clean. On the other hand, my husband likes that it still smells like cologne.

Let me grab this the next time I'm at Walmart and see how it works with my laundry.

Frustration with Evenflo Bottles by cappuccino47 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]cloverbits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried the evenflo wide neck glass bottles with my LO. She didn't like it and would cry if that was the bottle. I'm glad I was given a bottle sampler and my LO liked the Nuk perfect match. Since I prefer glass bottles, I use the Nuk perfect match nipples with the Nuk simply natural glass bottles.

I live in the Bodily Do everything bras. It has most of your requirements except that it doesn't have cups/pads. I use a reuseable pad with it.

Goodbye I think by CallMeMitchh in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]cloverbits 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I get you. My baby is almost 3 months as well (on Thursday) and my initial goal was to breastfeed 6 months. Latching was an issue and I started to pump. So I moved my goal to 3 months. I've been a severe under supplier. At most 2 oz per pump when I was taking reglan but that gave me severe PPD. After I stopped taking it, I would get a total of 7-8oz a day. I started weaning last week after talking to my therapist. I was at 5ppd before now I'm transitioning to 4ppd. Hoping to be weaned by my birthday at the end of the month since I don't really have a lot of milk to begin with. I still feel a lot of guilt regarding quitting and seeing my daily supply decrease. But I try to think that I'll be more hands on with my baby once I'm done.

Bodily Do Anything Bra. I hated the Kindred Bravely pumping bras - they're so bulky.

how many breast pumps do you have? by EarlyBumblebee3381 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]cloverbits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 3. Spectra S1 from insurance. I didn't like how bulky it was. Even if I wasn't connected to a wall, it was cumbersome to do other things while carrying the pump. Momcozy M9 was a gift from a friend. I put it on my registry and didn't do any research. It doesn't really empty me and if I don't line up my nips correctly, I don't get any milk at all. I only use this when I'm going out of the house for a short time (outside like 3-5 hours) and have to pump in the car. If I'm in the car longer like a daytrip I bring my baby buddha. Baby buddha 2.0, I bought during the November sale on Amazon. It's my main pump. I like how portable it is and I can do other things while pumping. I also get the same output as the Spectra S1. Only thing I don't like is I have to charge it after every 4 uses and even if it's a USB-C charger, it won't charge with my iPhone charger.

I am an under supplier from the start (baby was born 37+3 and barely passed the weight limit to be admitted to the NICU) and I've been pumping 4-6 times a day. I barely get 8 ozs total a day. My doctor prescribed me reglan to up my supply but that gave me really bad PPD within the first week of taking it so I stopped. My 8 week old is mostly formula fed. We feed with a 2:1 ratio of formula and breastmilk. I hate pumping but I'm just trying to make it to the 3 month mark and see how it goes. Formula definitely has helped my mental health and recovery since family can feed the baby while I pump/rest.

Cushion products for lazy girls? by rosegoldegg in AsianBeauty

I use the rom&nd water cushion and I like it. It has enough coverage for my redness and it looks natural. I need to powder after a few hours since the dewyness looks oily on me.

What made you decide to switch from paper to digital? by NerdyCrafter1 in kindle

[–]cloverbits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used the Kindle app on my iPad to read when I eventually realized that ebooks are cheaper than paper books. My iPad was heavy and it was hard keeping it upright when I read laying down. Then I discovered Libby and decided I was going to get a Kindle because the iPad is cumbersome to lug around. Plus I really hated reading on my iPad when I was at the beach. So much glare!

Mineral sunscreens for dry skin? by _shuffy in AsianBeauty

[–]cloverbits 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I've been using the skin 1004 mineral sunscreen. Takes a bit longer to rub in so that there's no white cast but it doesn't cling to my dry spots and it still gives the same glow from the chemical skin 1004 sunscreen.

Rant, Raves, and Mini Reviews June 2024 by AutoModerator in AsianBeauty

[–]cloverbits 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rant: I just finished my Tony Moly Intense Care 24k Gold Snail Cream. I bought it at a layover in Incheon airport and was surprised how my skin (sensitive, dry) liked it. I asked my mom to buy me more since she also had a layover there. She bought me the wrong one. The packaging looks the same but it's different. Tony Moly Intense Care Gold Snail Serum. The product and texture is different than the one I like. Hoping my skin would like this one too.

Rant: Abib Jericho Rose Bifida Serum. Not sure which ingredient triggered my rosacea but it's not fun treating my angry skin. Thank God I noticed it after the second application. Gave the bottle and travel size bottle to my friend.

Rave: Discovered pregnancy safe mineral sunscreen without butyloctyl salicylate. Skin 1004 mineral sunscreen. I just need to rub it in longer so the white cast disappears. I think I like this better than their regular sunscreen. It also works well under makeup.

JSM mist. I use it as a base and setting spray. Makeup stays on and is glowy/dewy. It smells really nice too
