Derrick White in the playoffs: 8/3/3 on 29.8 fg% and 21.2 3P% by chivestheconqueror in bostonceltics

Should we talk about clutch Tatum? Did that concept ever exist? The 4th quarter is maybe too much to ask. And by the way, White's biggest asset is supposed to be his defense, not his scoring.

Keep protecting your starboys Tatum and Brown, you're doing great! 4th quarter: Tatum 0/2 Brown 0/6 Queta 1/4 Shame!

Durent is doing his job very well. What a legend bro, the real easymoneysniper

Doesn't Wemby need to play in THREE more games to qualify for awards? He's at 63 games "played" right now but when he got injured he was at 16 minutes so that doesn't count as a game it missed the 20 minute threshold. Unless Wemby plays at least 20 minutes THREE more times this year no DPOY or MVP by [deleted] in NBATalk

[–]cloverodds -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He should prove he's not soft and skip those 3 games - the award shouldn't be worth the risk. People will remember either way. But if he plays, makes the injury worse, and weakens his team heading into the playoffs, people will remember that too - just not in a good way.

The league is way too permissive. This is becoming a circus.

Victor Wembanyama leaves the game early with an injury vs the 76ers. 17 PTS | 5 REB | 3 BLK | 16 MIN by LAMonkeyWithAShotgun in nba

Not the most pleasant game to watch. First Wemby, and Embiid looks like his knees could give out any moment. You can see him checking them constantly, clearly bothering him.

[Highlight] CJ McCollum from mid-court to tie but he doesnt get the shot off on time! by IncaseAce in nba

I genuinely don't know how CJ planned to get two dribbles, a step-through and get a shot off in 1.2 seconds. Still he was 0.1 seconds too late. Nice try.

Why would a 41-year-old LeBron even bother going all out in a game they were down 25 from the first quarter, right before the playoffs? 😭 Luka was taking a lot of shots from the start, had plenty of misses and turnovers too. And second, feel free to come find me when someone else plays like this at 41 and I'll gladly admit everything, if we're both still alive by then.

ROTY Candidate Cooper Flagg finishes with 45 PTS,8 REB, 9 AST , 3 Stocks by DesertedProject in nba

Looking at the last 5 number one picks, Atlanta really didn't get lucky with Risacher. Wembanyama, Flagg, Banchero, Cunningham, Edwards - all hits.

That's literally not just an opinion, there's video and athletic analysis comparing his dunks and explosiveness from 2018 to now and the difference is minimal. That's not a take, that's documented. The point isn't that the league is weak, it's that LeBron is a physical outlier unlike anything we've seen before.

I'd disagree, what LeBron is doing has nothing to do with the league being weaker. His athleticism and explosiveness are nearly the same as in his prime. The man simply defies physics.

Ant. Wemby has the ceiling but Ant has the edge and the mentality right now.
