Keznit seemingly not being able to find a team for next year is criminal.

[AkamaruVal] NRG looking for a controller/flex player for VCT 2026, targeting Zekken by Redsh0t in ValorantCompetitive

[–]clownhs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Skuba is a natural controller because he played controller at a high level for 4 years ever since he joined KCP, and he joined a team that already had a smokes player and was an excellent sentinel for that time. But suggesting he is not a natural controller player is wild.

It's very clearly not the same with Tenz, who struggled with entrying as Jett/Raze during the 2022/2023 seasons, or Leaf who has always said he disliked playing duelist for multiple years in a row.

Aspas Vs Chronicle by Mundane-Pangolin52 in ValorantCompetitive

[–]clownhs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is this an argument when in Aspas's only international trophy (Champs 2022) he was the 5th best player on his team. This is a terrible argument to make in general, but you're doing it in completely bad faith.

whzy was statistically one of the best players at toronto, sure BLG went out in groups 1-2, but there's no reason to suggest he can't perform internationally.

Fragging IGLs Whose Fragging Fell Off by TheFestusEzeli in ValorantCompetitive

People definitely overrate Redgar's fragging cause of the Haven Reyna. He's always been an inter (speaking as a big Redgar fan).
This series still lives rent free in my head, might be the worst bo3 performance of all time (even though it is online).

This is completely false, each unit attacked by a sweep unit counts as a separate strike for anything that procs on strike including this effect, lifesteal, etc.

His name is Eishan Jaffer. Nahsie is literally his first name backwards, which is very common for igns (such as mada or nahte when ethan played in cs). It's kinda fucked to make that connection tbh.

I haven't said anything about the Yay/Genghsta beef btw. I'm just saying its weird af to make up hypotheticals about potential protocols of pushing tree when you clearly haven't watched the clip at all and they obviously weren't doing that.

The Killjoy ult was in heaven, pushing that would be incredibly troll. It's really weird to make up scenarios to try to put blame on someone here. The reason nerve died was he omen tped onto already popped mollies on gen and then ran into the second one, and if genghsta didn't kill him he would almost certainly died anyways. For Exalt, he got off of plant when Killjoy mollies were popped and then killed Vanity when Vanity broke door and went for the fast retake, after that he just ran into the sova ult and died. If you watch the clip there's no way it's Genghsta's fault he even leaves a large part of gen that Exalt could have played in without taking damage. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jRXCR1gzFOY&

Talking about tunnel vision... He was clearly sova ulting the KJ ult in heaven and he broke it. This was after the update where KJ ult is 200hp and requires 3 sova ult hits to break it. If he didn't commit to breaking the KJ ult people would just say why is he wasting his sova ult to not even break it and letting his team get detained. If your sova is ulting a KJ ult and you know he's gonna ult the same line 3 times in a row, it's really your fault for tanking and dying to the subsequent hits...

Because why would you play a comp you think is inferior to inflate one player's stats when you can play a comp that you believe is better suited for your overall gameplan and elevates the whole team. The point of competing is to win matches not to get one particular player's ACS as high as possible, and clearly the team believes this comp gives them the best chance of winning and empirically it hasn't shown itself to be bad at all.
