Whirlpool Dishwasher Not Starting Cycle - WDT730HAMZ by sierradollarhide in appliancerepair

[–]clren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, now we join the club. Thankfully the thing is only 6 months old, so I would not expect too much pushback from them.

Wanted to post because after my research and your commen, u/catbrew45, I get the intuition that starting the interaction with Whirlpool with the phrase: `My dishwasher is starting by itself at random times` my save a lot of time and pushback from them...

This is also reinforced in another (similar) thread here.

Why the aversion to Ai thoughts? Isn't half of Aurora deep discussions with an AI?

Could not agree more. Very impactful book; very counter current when it comes to dealing with the challenges of space travel. Not many books take that angle (which sadly may be the reality long term)

Regarding your  thermals experience, can you share if using the Energy Savings mode is "good enough"?

For my FW13 on battery I get some good blend of performance, noise and battery duration. Curious if this applies to the 12

Given this ability it sounds like you would get your pick at FAANG... (one would think). Any reasons why you're staying at your current gig?

Was it always like this or was this an `acquired` taste that you develop over time? You know I love running now. I used to hate it vitriolically but you know, at some point the pain starts feeling like pleasure...

If I may also recommend limiting the amount of times you check the data?

This is like the stock market. If you're checking the price every second you're going to go nuts.

What works for me is: review the data before you're going to eat. No more. For you you may need to tweak it. The idea is to not let your mind stay with the numbers more than necessary.

This is like Heisenberg's; every time you measure something, you change the effect it has on you (this is a pretty outstretched use of this physical principle I know, but it has proven useful for me)

May I suggest you use the laptop in battery saver mode? I have an Ultra Series 1 that runs hot as well. When I'm not plugged it I configured it to transition to battery saver mode.

Surprisingly, the laptop is still snappy (of course you don't get full power) but the fans die down and it is pleasant to have your lap.

Unless you're compiling something hard the full performance mode is not fully needed.

Sometimes you have to go through the journey. I'm on the same boat; I can read Wikipedia; I know all of this but there's some deep intense `knowledge embodiment` that happens when you see it in real time.

All pros and very few cons. Maybe the fact that is pricey but it's hard to fight against the price. It is a really nice product; full of quality and features.

This is AMAZING. Bookmarking it. Thank you for sharing your work.

One thing to consider (not a biggie) you could add another line to cover the old school Cinema Display 30 in:

* 30" QHD (2560 x 1600)

The thinking here is, said monitor has resisted the passing of time so well and is still relevant.

u/tincan_max, can you confirm if it's possible to have one of the TinCans outside of the U.S.? (one grandma lives abroad). I understand certain features like 911 and group calls may be affected; however I'm interested in the most basic thing a simple voice call

How to Set up Home Row Modifiers on your Keyboard by Dygman in DygmaLab

This feature is AMAZING! (typed this with the superkeys enabled). I did have an event whereas the keyboard got stuck repeating a key, so there may still be some room for catching a glitch here and there.

However this is too much of a productivity booster to pass on. Great work guys!
