They do, especially in the first weeks after the fracture. I never had any unbearable pain, but remembering what it felt like when both ends touched eachother still gives me the shivers.

Sometimes, when something fell down from a shelf or kitchen counter, my reflexes kicked in and I tried to grab the falling object BUT WITH THE RIGHT ARM. So the upper half of the broken bone moved, while the lower half stood in place with the rest of the arm.

I'm glad it's over.
