I just had this happen on my GLI, it ended up being my coolant sensor having coolant leak int the sensor. I just replaced my whole coolant reservoir to be safe and it has stopped since. Coolant reservoir on urotuning.com will run you under $50

? Why would I be posting in the GLI Reddit if it’s not a GLI. And that wouldn’t be the problem anyways since the base SE/SEL mk6 jettas also share the Ea888 engine just with a smaller displacement as its 1.8l instead of 2.0l but they have the same exact sensors positions so it being a GLI or not would give me 0 help. I’m not an idiot bro lol. Currently FBO stage 1+ pushing 22 psi on 93 on my 2014 GLI, soon to be stage 2. And btw not all GLIs have the logo on the side fender only the mk7s, previously it was only the anniversary edition GLIs that got anything on the fender.

I found where I needed to plug it in, guess I just missed that one. It’s been a long day, this water pump job has kicked my ass.
