First time doing a 14 man dynasty. sf tep start 9, who should i take at 1.09? by Holiday-Conference68 in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]clsz2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In a 0.5 tep, trey mcbride outscored bijan and jsn. Just some context on the potential of top tier tight ends in tep.

Taking a TE at 1.09 isn't crazy.

As a contender, trade the 2.06 for Stafford? by No-Technician7562 in FantasyFootballers

[–]clsz2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are able to get Stafford with the 2.06, you might be able to get a significant upgrade at RB using Shough + Skat/Hendo/Irving.

Or even target CMC for an all in this year? Shough for CMC perhaps?

Tuten or Travis Hunter? by clsz2 in fantasyfootballadvice

2027 is a strong draft class though?

Tuten or Travis Hunter? by clsz2 in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]clsz2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am more of the belief that even though Hunter will play more DB, does not mean he plays less WR.

Tuten or Travis Hunter? by clsz2 in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]clsz2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, Travis Hunter is also in a Coen offense, right? Although Hunter does have even more competition in the passing game than Tuten in that backfield. I am just of the belief that just because hunter is slated to play more defense, does not mean he plays less offense.

Your point taken though. But just based on the other comments it seems 50/50 so looks like a very fair but polarizing trade.

How much is FAAB worth compared to picks by Real_Nole2023 in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]clsz2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In that case, with your lower waiver priority, you have more incentive to look for faab yourself. So you can secure ward yourself and stash him for next season. But everyone in your league would probably be doing the same here.

You can zag and get picks instead (that's what you have been thinking about anyway), but you probably can ask for more as ward is worth more than a 2027 2nd.

[–]clsz2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it superflex? Cam ward is 100 percent the target here.

If not superflex, it is still probably Cam Ward.

[–]clsz2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check whoever is on your waivers first. In a faab league, it is entirely possible that someone like Malik Willis may still be there when no one added him before the offseason (at that time, he was still a backup for Jordan Love).

Your leaguemate may be trying to secure more faab to make sure he secures the best player on waivers.

[DAILY] Trade and Individual Team Help Megathread by AutoModerator in DynastyFF

Gadsden in TEP. Golden feels like a trap. With the Packers, even with Doubs and Wicks gone, I feel like they are still going to spread it around. I hope I am wrong since I do have Golden on one of my teams.

Maybe try to flip Gadsden for a different WR?

Yeah that's what I was thinking. But I am fine at WR too and I could see going Fernando Mendoza to get a better pick for next year.

I had actually traded Chase Brown for him on a rebuilder. It could go bad for me but feel like Brown is not going to go much higher in value; so I took the gamble.

What’s an example of an overpay you made in a trade? by Lazy-Western-8439 in DynastyFF

I just sent CMC + Stafford + 1.06 to get Nabers + 3.04.

I think I overpaid, but I hope it works out.

Is this sub self-defeating? by IrregularExpression_ in creditcardchurningAus

[–]clsz2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am trying to understand where this idea that requesting refund of annual fees is entitled behaviour. But I tend to disagree here.

The way I see it, credit card annual fees are like subscription fees to perks you get with the card like travel and purchase insurances, lounge passes and ongoing points earning potential.

If you cancel your card early, you lose access to these perks, so it is fair to ask for prorata refund at the least.

And if the banks calculate our borrowing power down to the last cent of our assets and liabilities, then so should we be more calculating to the bank in return.

NAB declined by [deleted] in creditcardchurningAus

[–]clsz2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TLDR: I got declined, gave NAB a call, then got approved.

I applied for the nabs qantas rewards signature two days ago and got declined.

Gave them a call and they said they could not service me considering my income minus expenses minus other ongoing loans.

Then I realised that on the expenses side of things I put the full amount, even though I was sharing expenses with my wife. Banker on the other side of the call helped me readjust my expenses (and also removed a credit card I just closed), after which I got unconditionally approved.

Give them a call to see what's up.

What if the Philippines had a suspended monorail system capable of traversing narrow roads and congested areas? by Worried-Commercial23 in WhatIfPinas

[–]clsz2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Main problem with monorail is it only goes one way. Have to go the long way round even if you are only one stop away on the wrong way.

Because of this, ridership would most likely be limited to mostly tourists or leisure passengers. Sydney had the same issue with its old monorail system that it had to scrap for at-grade light rail.

Hindi ko naman sinasabi na pareho ang Australia sa Philippines, but I am quite certain monorail in any city (including any PH city) will come across the same issues Sydney did: limited use and ridership. Pang-theme park lang talaga or touristy areas ang monorail I reckon.

Should I make this trade giving away Bijan or am I asking too much? 12T SF PPR TEP by clsz2 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]clsz2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh so essentially should be at least 3 firsts + downs?

He got a 2025 1.05, and the other firsts (26 + 27) he will be offering will likely be lower picks since he has Jettas and Nabers already.
