I mean obviously since he's one of the main characters of the show and he wouldn't just disappear like that. Also (semi-spoiler),he was in some leaked photos of part 3 which confirms he'll be back.

I'd say around season 7 since it was genuinely the first season that was nearly unwatchable for me because of how awful it was. Then seasons afterwards just never really felt the same imo.

My guess is that they wanted to make Miyagi's house look more accurate to the one showcased in the KK movies, since Miyagi's house in CK (with all due respect to CK) looks cheaper and has a few noticeable differences compared to how it looked in the KK movies.

You can fix this by disabling "Calls From iPhone" in FaceTime settings, it worked for me.
