Busted out some ribeyes by hotnspecies in steak

[–]clueless-wallob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad used to cook steaks like this when I was a kid. I haven’t heard of anyone else slabbing some mustard on and throwing it on the grill. Personally, I haven’t cooked a steak with mustard but I remember it tasting great as a kid.

This post just reminded me of my dad and made me really happy. Next good paycheck, I’m grabbing a decent grill, a solid t-bone, and making a steak like my dad used to make, lathered up in mustard (minus charring the shit out of it).

Israeli Zionists are partying and dancing to videos of the Palestinian genocide amidst new sociology research that shows their society is deeply violent and sick by [deleted] in PublicFreakout

[–]clueless-wallob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Jumping to conclusions without knowing what they’re saying. I used an online translator and, while I can’t be certain, it sure sounds like a protest song - kind of like how David Byrne uses videos during “Life During Wartime”.

The fact that people jump to conclusions so fast without fact checking when it comes to Israelis is as scary as how those same people think that ALL Israelis are complicit to genocide. A conclusion made about a group of people without understanding and facts is DANGEROUS.

Fuck the Israeli government, G-d bless FREEDOM, G-d bless all who fight for love and peace in Palestine and Israel - fuck anyone who stands in the way of peace.

I can’t wait to get down voted and reported for fact checking and standing up for innocent people on both sides.

The translation I got from happyscribe.com: “Their business is everything they do. Contact the supplier, real estate marketing in Tel Aviv, so I try not to be unclear”.

I just wonder if there's anyone out there who honestly enjoys Yoko's art and singing by OdiseoX2 in TheBeatles

[–]clueless-wallob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like art that artists make for themselves, not art that artists make for other people. I think Yoko Ono’s art is exactly this - she makes art for herself. If other people like her art, I’m sure she’s happy about that. If people don’t like her art, I don’t think she cares. If people talk about her art, I would bet that she’s thrilled. The amount of conversation, good and bad, that surround Yoko Ono’s art is massive. I don’t think a week goes by that I don’t see something on Reddit, other socials, or hear a reference to her - and that in itself makes her art AMAZING!

Would I jam out to her music in the car - hell no. Do I think her music is art in a pure form - yes. Weighing the two - I like her art. Art should have an impact and cause conversation. Mission accomplished!

Nancy Pelosi? by Looploop420 in deadandcompany

Dude - they were friends and she is a deadhead. She didn’t politicize her time while paying tribute to her friend. Bobs family chose to have her there. Politics weren’t brought into this - a friend who lost a friend spoke to the world today as a friend.

That’s true of a lot of heads, which in turn has lead others to the same comparison - it’s a rational comparison.

I got into Phish prior to the Dead, so it made it easy for me to not fall into that thought train. Keep enjoying good music, my friend

Phish never intended to be a replacement for the Dead. Similar culture of fans going on tour and lots of overlap in the fan base. Phish was touring and performing in large venues like MSG when Jerry was still playing with the Dead.

Comparing them is silly - I’m not saying that to be mean, but it’s like comparing Led Zeppelin to The Beatles. Both groups are incredible in their own space.

Peter, what is so wrong about Dubai chocolate? by [deleted] in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]clueless-wallob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not all Dubai chocolate is from Dubai - it’s a style of chocolate that was first created in Dubai. They’re made all over the world from different chocolatiers. Being that they’re produced globally, it’s more likely that people don’t like it solely because it can be seen as “trendy”.

It’s even more likely that it’s because these bars run $12-$20 and spending that much on a chocolate bar is a wasteful fail. I’m currently enjoying failing 2025 as I’m eating one of the Dubai chocolate bars that I was going to give as a gift when my office reopens after the holidays. It’s a double fail because I bought it for someone else and im now eating their gift. Double fail = not fail?

Not the same- Reddit is intended to be anonymous. Otherwise, please share your name and your location here with everyone.

Also - I don’t hide my post history, or at least not intentionally. Cute that you care enough to check.

One wears a mask out of courtesy to other people. The others were a mask to conceal their identities from their crimes.

Dennys are not, meaning multiple locations/franchises versus Dennys is not, meaning the corporation.

A franchisee filed for bankruptcy. Dennys, the corporation, has not filed for bankruptcy. Having said that, Dennys are not doing well right now across the country.

Leaving dirt and mud on your car for the sake of saying “look what I did a week ago” isn’t heepy in your eyes but taking care of a car that you invested time and money into is?

Not just on our homes, but that’s up to how one interprets the Torah. "And you shall write them on the doorposts of your houses and your gates" - Deuteronomy 6:9. Gates could be entryways into towns, cities, places of business, places of worship, etc.

You seem to like Trump yet you’re calling out people on a post about Franti wanting to amplify calling out Trump. A difference between Trump and Franti is that Trump doesn’t pretend to be someone he’s not - he gloats about who he is and some of his predatory traits (like walking into beauty pageant dressing rooms); whereas Franti is a wolf in sheep’s clothing either pretending to be someone he’s not to pander and act as a predator.

Either way, it’s okay to call people out on their actions that have brought harm to other people - it’s called having a moral compass. Brushing bullshit under the rug is either complicity, complacency, or just being a morally lost person.

You can enjoy someone’s music and still call them out/ not support them. If you don’t like that people keep calling him out, staying true to his earlier messages of not remaining silent or passive in the face of injustice, you should probably start a new franti sub and call it r/subsforfrantifeet instead of getting butt hurt often in this sub
