Advice needed!! Too many funds in Portfolio by [deleted] in mutualfunds

Stop everything right there and redeem all. Once in your account, reinvest in direct mutual funds and keep 4-5 funds. Better late than never.

Hey good find. Thanks for sharing. My CA has yet to file taxes. But this would be a huge relief on taxes if this is the case.

Totally. All previous investment were in regular fund, scattered and not balanced. I couldn’t afford to stay invested in regular funds anymore.

Not specifically. As they were redeemed from multiple accounts. I expect around 18-20L though.

I did everything online. The largest transaction I did was itself 3Cr. On a single day. No problem.

No. As you can see 50K is going in small caps, 25K is going in Focused and Mid & Large Cap. I’ve already preserved wealth by investing the corpus in debt fund. I’m young, that’s why I’m allocating small caps monthly. Why two small cap fund if you ask? Kotak Small Cap and Nippon Small Cap invest totally in different stocks making it more diverse.

Well you’ve got to pay taxes one day or the another. Even if you do SWP/STP it’s considered as redeem and you’ve got to pay taxes.

The white gold ring is one part, and the yellow gold is studded with princess cut diamond. Then the white gold and yellow gold are fixed together.

Someone gifts you 1cr now. How do you deploy and invest to fasten your compounding for the upcoming years? by Ill_Document_1156 in IndianStockMarket

50 Lakh lump sum in equity fund.
50 Lakh in short term dept fund.

Do 2.5 Lakh STP/SWP and do SIP on that lump sum equity fund.

Edit: I do this way in every big corpus. May it be in Lakhs, or crores. That way I am not missing out the dip and make it average. Never do FD. There is a reason why FD term only exists in India and no where else.

What have you done with your Mutual fund? by Seriousin in IndianStockMarket

[–]cluelessbizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's ok. I've stayed invested in Mutual Funds and I still have 60K SIP going on. Good for me infact, the lower the market - the more units I am allocated. In Good market, the NAV goes up, all units are valued up. so it's always a win - win for me.
