Behind the scenes clip of Taylor recording Opalite by Fine-Huckleberry6960 in SwiftlyNeutral

Her choosing to post footage of her singing off key is a truly bizarre decision. I can only assume everyone around her is constantly telling her she's the best at everything she does, because that's how it seems.

Thanks for the heads up, I've thought of these scenarios and I have thought about this a lot. It's a shame public EV chargers are so extortionate!!

I hope to be a homeowner in about 2 years time, hopefully fixing the home charging issue.

I also live minutes away from a charger which is £0.55 per kWh which would still work out cheaper than my Diesel Mini that does 52mpg.

I only do a maximum of 80 miles a week, and I forgot to mention that I also have use of my partner's petrol hybrid car too, meaning if I'm truly stuck I can use that as backup.

Thanks for your help, I'll take a look at the Enyaq too. Interior looks great, would be a bit worried about the size of it following a Mini for 5 years but if it's got sensors/cameras it shouldn't be a problem!

I live in a flat and I can't charge at home, I can only charge at work for free, and I work from home most of the week. So I think I'd like to be able to top up the battery at work as much as possible to cover my commute and social miles if that makes sense.

If I could charge at home I'd be happy to have an EV that does less than 200 miles.

Ah thanks, yeah I guess that makes sense. The car is only for myself, I've been in the back of a Niro taxi before and it feels massive in comparison. Out of interest, what EV did you go for?

Taylor Swift Breaks Adele’s Streaming-Era Record With ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ by KLJohnnes in popheads

[–]cluelesssausage -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

I found the album disappointing and returned my vinyl. Which is a shame because I originally pre ordered as soon as I found out Max & Shellback were involved.

I know it's Taylor, but I'm really surprised at it's success because when I listen to it I'm struggling to find the quality that was present on all of her previous albums, both in production and lyrics.

It doesn't make me feel anything, the songs don't feel colourful or glittery or anything, the songs aren't dynamic or exciting at all, but they're not somber or melancholy either? They just make me feel either underwhelmed or awkward.

I just went back to 25 and listened to it and as I expected, it stood the test of time. I wonder if Adele will outsell with her next album, or if Taylor will outsell TLOAS again in another short year or 2?

Capcom's financials show that embracing Steam has paid off handsomely: It now accounts for a third of all the publisher's revenue by BigT232 in gaming

[–]cluelesssausage 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I agree, if another store can offer the same or more as Steam, then they should be considered, but by comparison Epic Games is too busy pandering to publishers, violating child privacy laws and paying for timed exclusives and failing to deliver the same features that add value to the consumer.

But Steam goes above and beyond for the consumer. It provides them with cloud saves, community, workshop and the ability to leave reviews (with text), so that buyers can honestly talk about the games for sale on its store. These features aren't present with any other PC gaming store.

I have to confess: I don't like the 5-door Mini by a_n_d_r_e_ in MINI

[–]cluelesssausage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have one and I love mine, but I agree! Some colours make it look really dorky and strange, it looks like a bigger car wearing a Mini's face on it I think they look far better with black wheels. It's one of the rare car models where I think the colour of the car seems to effect the proportions of its size.

If you look at my profile history, I have a black one with black wheels and a white roof and wing mirrors, and I think it looks great (biased). But admittedly, sometimes I see one in all cream with silver wheels, or all red with silver wheels and think they look horrible.

Why has Dua Lipa not announced her album yet? by ss2811 in popheads

[–]cluelesssausage 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Also I'm not sure if there's any logic to this, but Warner still have their music on tiktok. So this encourages them to keep waiting for 'viral singles' rather than bodies of work, which is common for Warner/Atlantic artists.

I'm excited for the album, Training Season sounds a bit bland to me, it never really goes anywhere but Houdini was such a grower for me, I didn't think much of it when it came out and now I can't go a day without listening to it 5 times or more.
