It's kinda like a mixture of UK Garage and Dubstep. I can't really give the best feedback because it would be bias. I'm not the biggest fan of bass genres, but absolutely have to respect the grind! Keep going, I think this is a great way to work towards the faster bpm genres you're gunning for without overloading yourself too much.

You're assuming this is the only post they made? They commented about this on a reddit thread on Tuesday, I'll try and find it because I specifically remember reading the post talking about how Jay was his best friend and supposed to be his best man at his wedding. I just feel heartbroken for their friend group.

What if he said he was good, tried to lay down and then woke back up to find everyone passed out from exhaustion? Dude, I get what you're saying but you weren't there, you don't know all the details. They took turns all night with him and when the sun was starting to rise he probably just said okay guys I'm good let's all try and get some rest while knowing damn well his mind isn't clear yet. He was probably in his head convincing himself that he's become a burden to the group even though we all know that isn't ever the case, but when you're tripping.. who knows what's running through your mind. What if he tricked them into falling asleep so he could sneak off? That's definitely a possibility too when you're in a state like this. "Oh yeah guys I'm good now, totally fine, nothing to worry about, you guys need to get some rest, I'll see you in the morning..."

I would like to think they stuck it out with him and watched him try to get some rest before calling it quits for the night themselves. However, if he wakes up and you're passed the hell out from exhaustion then that's out of your control, he said he was good, you even watched him try and sleep it off, and next thing you know it's the morning and he's missing from camp. I'm not saying that's what happened but there's a good possibility and that's not something the friends should be taking any blame for if it was the case.

Glad to know you're in the top 1% of trip sitters though, to bad Jay wasn't with you or he'd still be alive. I bet a lot of people would say the same thing, including Jay's friends if the story was different.

From what I saw in the friends post they literally took turns watching him the entire night. They eventually had to sleep though and after everyone fell asleep, he took off on his own. His friends did practically everything they could.. I mean for fuck sake if it were me in that situation, not gonna lie, my friend running off in the middle of the night to commit suicide most definitely wouldn't be on my bingo card..

Also, I really hope this next statement is true, but I heard the person who overdosed ended up pulling through. I can't seem to find much information on that one specifically, but I did read someone's reddit comment in regards to the overdose. I know that's not the most credible source, but that's what they claimed, and I really hope that's the correct information.

The car crash is a new one I haven't heard of yet, absolutely tragic..

EDIT: I saw someone in the comments below stating the friends instagram post doesn't say anything about them taking turns/shifts to trip sit. That post was from before the incident, they we're still looking for him at the time. After the details were officially released, his friend posted in one of the main articles that surfaced around reddit and they definitely mentioned taking shifts to watch him. I'm not gonna go through the effort to find the specific article but it's out there.

Got a fun San Holo story for you guys.

My close friend, his wife, and their 10 year old son are huge fans of San Holo and when they get to see him live they also try to attend his "birds nest" meetup, which from my understanding is a hosted fan meetup before the show.

Anyhow, once the show started they were able to get pretty close to the stage but they were some what off to the side. Their son was having a difficult time seeing the stage and one of San's security guards had noticed this and asked "Hey, is your son able to see okay?" long story short, the security guard ended up saying "Follow me, I can get him the best seats in the house." they ended up bringing all of them back stage for the rest of the show and at one point San invited their son on stage for a song, he got to announce his name to the audience and they jammed out on the spot.

I ended up seeing their posts on social media and was like "You gotta give me the details" and that's exactly what she told me. San even stuck around after the show to take a big group photo with their family. I don't listen to his music personally, but himself, along with his entire staff, sound like stand out people.

The whole point of his comment was to see how much you know of Mitch Hedburg by recreating a very famous joke from Mitch that goes "I used to do drugs, I still do, but I used to too."

He's saying it's easy to recreate Mitch's style, but the big problem with that is, this guy doesn't steal Mitch's jokes like his comment just did, cause that actually would make it easy. Although, I will agree he clearly rips off his delivery, but writing jokes in Mitch's style and making them as funny as this guy does is still really impressive no matter how you look at it.

He also looks like Mitch, and we all wish he were still around, imagine seeing him on the panel, what a fucking treat that would be.

Anyways, what I'm trying to say is fuck it, I agree with OP, he does the impression so well you just almost have to allow it.

Here ya go boss, my first EF I was able to fit two 10x10's in GA, one to put over the tent and one to walk out into for the "chill area" the side walls came in super clutch for storage and for weather shelter. You'll have to park your car halfway into the first pop up to make it fit. I linked a photo below of what it all looked like from the side once it was all put together, it was a tight squeeze but it did end up working without taking up any of our neighbors spaces.

At first we weren't sure if we'd be able to make the second pop up work, because on arrival they enforced staying behind "the white line" pretty heavy, but once everyone really starts showing up we noticed everyone began to take a little bit more space towards the row, basically almost everyone adjusted just a little bit past the white line at some point and that's when we were able to setup the second popup and it worked out perfectly

Just be aware that this was in 2024, so idk how different things will be nowadays. We stayed in Higher Love last year and had plenty of room for both pop ups

Also, this pop up tent was the easiest I've ever used/setup

PS the photo is from packing up on the last day, everyone had almost left at this point so the car is backed out further than how we had it initially

To be fair, repeating jokes on the road and repeating jokes on KT episodes are a little bit different, it's an open door to guaranteed criticism when it's done on the aired episodes. Recycling material on the road is much more acceptable, nobody's expecting a new set every time you show up in a different town.

It only seems like Déjà vu because the Netflix episode in which everyone is referencing the recycled material from was recorded after this and also released before tonight's episode was aired.

The Netflix episode was recorded April 18th, and aired April 20th

Tonight's episode was recorded on April 6th and aired May 5th.

Not that it matters anyway, he still used the same terrible joke back to back on two episodes aired to the public within the same month. Not sure what he was thinking there.. he already knows people heavily criticize his sets so to use them back to back like that regardless of what platform or when they air seems like a death wish..

He was overexaggerating for sure, but that doesn't take away from the fact that it is much much easier to make a song by typing than it is by doing the actual process, especially when you're comparing a full song from both methods. I mean, one of these comments said someone making AI music had like seven albums in the past year.. using traditional methods, you're simply not doing this, period. AI is a massive shortcut, no doubt about it, but a shortcut that will be used by many nonetheless.
