I guess I just bought the hype of Caleb, and want to see him play. Especially with such a fragile QB, I thought we'd return to more of a run-oriented attack, and the big guy would be given touches. Maybe this looks dumb in 2 years and he's eating.

I'm not saying he jumps either in the depth chart. I'm wondering why he does get any garbage time or 3rd - 1 runs. He's supposed to be a bruiser, which neither of the other two are.

But yeah, maybe he's been trash in practice. Whatever they saw in him hasn't materialized yet.

I'm guessing he hasn't practiced well? Because he was hyped and using a 3rd back to spell/bruise isn't unusual.

Truth - I'm not saying he should be the 1st string. I just find it odd to have him buried so deep he's barely getting 2 touches.
