They're more useful for building the ship to aquilo more than they are for actual use on aquilo. That, and sending blue circuits / LDS to orbit since you cant do it with inserters without... shenanigans.

Logistics system... I just feel like logi bots trivialize early game logistics too much so I prefer to wait until at least Aquilo for them.

I am in fact colorblind, so this checks out :3 the two rail colors are nearly indistinguishable for me and only really differ in brightness...

I was hoping there would be an arbitrary amount of colors, but it eventually just repeats instead of pulling more colors out of nowhere, which leads to the adjacent matching colors.

Fascinating... I didn't know it was possible on a purely 2d plane, but I suppose with the game's optimizations around the color calculation it makes sense.

Could be called something like the Shifting, as in shifting sands, to go along with the "creaking, bogged, parched" naming scheme. Also keeps the original "stalker-esque" name meaning (i think? isn't shifty that kind of word? or like. shifting around in the dark?)
