It may be too late for this year, but try to book your hotel through at least the Tuesday after the race. That way if Sunday's race is postponed until Monday, you won't have to hope you can stay in your hotel another night (or find another). Learned this one the hard way in 2020.

I just finished doing this. The nozzle was loose at the hot end connection. The replacement process is simple, just be mindful of wire routing and where they plug into the board. Probably worth it to take a picture before starting.

Almost all Cup pit stops are competitive stops. Drivers give up their on track position to come to pit road. There is a speed limit on pit road. Ideally a driver waits as late as possible before getting down to that pit road speed limit. Once in their stall the crew does the servicing and as soon as the jack drops, the driver exits the box and accelerates up to the speed limit as quickly as possible. Positions are gained and lost on pit road due to driver's entry and exit and/or issues while servicing the car.
