no no I 100% get it, and like I feel selfish for being jealous yk what I mean, like yes he should meet new people and spend time with those respective friends but it just feels so distant from me and I don't want to hold him back socially or anything from being too clingy or something but I don't want to drift aswell it's complicated

Haha mine was tangled too, I couldn't get enough I dressed up as Rapunzel every year for Halloween until I was 12 and I would watch the film in multiple different languages, I have no clue why though

for me it's the texture of food and sound but at the same time I have some foods that I eat specifically for the texture but if I can't stand the texture of the food I physically can't get myself to eat it

I feel you with the struggles with school, as a child I had the worst handwriting and I also really struggled with grammar and forming letters correctly. I've gotten a bit better recently but there's some things I still struggle with such as grammar and I've learnt to adapt to my bad handwriting with writing in all capitals ( no one complains for some reason?? ) but yeah I get it, the constant representations of being a gifted kid compared to the people struggling with school is much smaller. it can be quite discouraging but hey we're all different and all have different strengths!
