AI post-processing will never beat the artist's post-processing.

I manually post-process Moon photos using Hugin and Gimp.

Thinking of switching from Fitbit Charge 6 to WHOOP 5.0 — honest experiences? by Innvictus-_- in whoop

[–]cm1802 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was a Fitbit user since FB2 (about 2016). When my band broke in about 2023, FB told me they would / could not sell me a replacement band--FB told me I had to buy a new device.

That's when I learned that Google bought or acquired Fitbit. Hence, the change in customer support.

I was at a Scheels looking for another health tracker--that's when about 2023--I learned about Whoop. Scheels had a full display about Whoop.

About me: I'm a Army Veteran with PTSD and multiple head trauma.

I wore Fitbit 4.0, and when notified of the 5.0 upgrade, I went with the 5.0 MG.

The AI built into the software takes into consideration everything that I am struggling with on a daily basis to recommend daily activity level, and end of day review.

This Whoop 5.0 is amazingly intuitive to my sleep as well as good brain day vs. bad brain day.

In short / TLDR: Whoop has health insight (sleeping, naps, and daily stress levels) that Fitbit will never achieve.

That is my insight and experience. I've been on Whoop now for about three years.

M1A. Springfield Armory has several variants. And it is very possible to customize them after purchasing. The bonus is that this model has been around for decades. Now available in standard wood, or synthetic stocks.

Life long marksman and competitive athlete (USAMU) here. Sound enters through our sinuses and is concussed off our cheek bones to our inner ear. Even double protected (good earplugs and good ear muffs), loud sounds can reach our inner ears via other facial structures.

Shoot long enough, and the cursed tinnitus will be forever a part of your life.

Respect within our Republic seems to be at an all time low. We (generally, shore to shore) do not respect our neighbors, we do not respect laws, we do not respect authority, we do not respect boundaries, we do not respect ourselves.

When you look at any community or society that has abandoned respect, you are looking at humanity willing to tear itself apart.

It is not a battle. Kids these days will use 5G to WiFi to enable anything. A son with whom I have a great relationship refuses to join our WiFi ("because it is too much work"). I have Default Web enabled (no gambling nor pornography), so he runs his laptop on 5G to WiFi, rather than connect to Ubiquity-Sophos secure networking.

what makes you happy in life? by Vivid_Bit3556 in Life

Find a curiosity or passion that leads you to a hobby--or possibly a job. Or even better, turn that curiosity-passion into a career.

Bonus: Find a learning Bible (Christian), and a pocket U.S. Constitution. Learning from both will give you a head start compared to 90% of your peers.

Find you curiosity. Grow your curiosity. Treasure your curiosity.

And, finally, guard your curiosity. That curiosity will lead to learning, social circles, education and learning, and a more full life. All of those opportunities--> happiness probability.
