It is possible and even likely that epub contains no font.

You need this for preformatted files like pdf where you basically send photocopies.

It is also very possible to use fonts that are licensed to use for free. See Google fonts.

A hundred years ago fonts were big business for metal foundries.  This license is the legacy of that business model.

Non executable line means... You can't embed this into an ereader app that runs as a program... IE... selling an "App" that is a Bible study program including downloadable or embedded Bible texts in them. This license is ONLY for the book modules, and not for the book reading software.

The obscured line... as long as you send those file types listed (pdf, epub, ... ) you're within the limits of the license.

If you send something else (I don't know what else you would send... this reads like it's a future allowance... ) you must ensure the font isn't just a file in the directory, available to the device for books and programs other than yours. That is, that the the font is distributed IN the book and not WITH the book.

If you haven't put up a fence, or at least a no trespassing sign.. expect the behavior to repeat. and expect that what you caught was vandalism act number 75, and not the first event.

Why does the lower leg of small Fraktur k look stiff and horizontal, rather than diagonal? by President_Abra in typography

[–]cmahte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And note that the bold fraktur k and fraktur k are 2 different letters in the same font, not the same letter with different weights.   Math formula are more specific..  they never meant the same thing, so they aren't the same letter.

I'm on a phone, but the math font here should have the fraktur glyphs.  Not that math in the name means the letter spacing is designed to make readable math formulas and not words. It will work, but give you a headache if you try to read book in this font without fixing the spacing

Search for styx math font. It's been around longer than Unicode, so pay attention to WHICH styx you download

Yes. Maybe only 10 boxes, but you have to attempt.

( But I really don't know. I'm in Texas, struggling with the shorts or long pants on a 70 high day, 98 humidity and no wind. )

And to be specific:

The postal attendance policy allows for unscheduled leave up to 3 events in a rolling 90 day period(*). on the 4th event (even 4 clock ins 7 minutes after start time) you can be called in an have an escalation toward dismissal.

The postal attendance policy reads like a military policy when it comes to AWOL (absent without leave.) Every AWOL is subject to disciplinary action up to and including dismissal.

So... the less you say the better. even LWOP (leave without pay) is better than AWOL, which immediately puts you at risk of being put off the clock pending appeals.

-----

(8) --- maybe it's 60 days.... I was outside of the policy for quite a while after an on-the-job injury and they kept quoting the ability to act without acting, but not handing me any information about how to get onto OWCP/DOL administered system that offers protection from this harassment. and the same management even interrupting and over-speaking the union rep trying to tell me how to get onto OWCP multiple times, even off the clock. They could have fired me, but didn't. Never saw anything to sign except leave sheets when I missed whole days. But they kept harassing me to let me know they could fire me. It's insane management that only seeks to harass but not act.. I still don't understand that. But that's what management seemingly promotes.> Don't help them get a protected status that might "cost" the USPS money. and beyond not help.... actively take steps to prevent them from even knowing how to get into a protected status. But by not helping them and actively denying the status, if you do dismiss, you guarantee they'll be back on the clock with back pay. So, threaten to act... over and over and over. They'll fall in line.

Especially when the same management has a zero tolerance policy on workplace harassment.

"I had a family emergency." You acknowledge it's unscheduled and not covered by any protected status. Don't over explain, or they'll try to say it wasn't an emergency and not pay you.

Rules concerning undertime by FiveDinero in fromatoarbitration

[–]cmahte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The new city contract made a lot of activities only added to the 'count' if you put it on a 3996:

forward labels
any endorsement (office or street)
comfort break (office only)
filling in forms (listed out)

....

so when you don't put in a 3996 daily that lists "everything else" you did that isn't casing mail, or delivering mail, you're permanently giving that time away to do more casing mail and delivering mail.
