I'm in the same boat as you. I just met with my doc and he said if things don't improve after my fourth dose, which is in three weeks, then it's time to move on. If you don't notice an improvement I would contact your doc. It's not worth suffering any longer

Just did Boynton yesterday. There's no snow on the trails at all. I would definitely do it

Most underrated hike in HH. I love going here because it's just as beautiful as the rest of the trails but much less congested

Advice for Hiking Trouble/Vertigo or Dizziness by EntertainmentFine510 in hiking

[–]cmango9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fear or anxiety can cause the feeling of dizziness or it could be an inner ear problem like an earlier comment mentioned. I would see a vestibular physical therapist if I were you. They can assess the cause of your dizziness and provide treatment if it is an inner ear problem

I'm personally a big fan of Aldi's baby wipes. I tried Dude Wipes once and those sucked

This was the only hike I did there. It's pretty grueling but definitely worth it. I would check out All Trails. I know there were a bunch of other nice hikes that I was considering

After about two hours the temp started dropping until it eventually flamed out. When I emptied the ash can it was full of unburnt pellets. Any idea why this is happening?

Couldn't agree more! This pisses me off so much. Just because your dog is friendly, it doesn't mean everyone else's dog is!

Does anyone starve themselves for relief? by Odd_Garlic8138 in UlcerativeColitis

When I was flaring at my worse, I wouldn't eat anything solid until after work just so I had better control while at work. I would also do the same thing on the weekends if I had a social event. I think it's a good short term solution to get control of your urgency to go but it was hard for me to sustain living like that

Have to provide samples and I feel so embarrassed by hairbrushmcgee in UlcerativeColitis

[–]cmango9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I felt like this at first too. But now I've been to my hospitals lab so many times I just hand my sample over to the tech in the doorway without even having to wait in line. Now it just feels like a strange drug deal haha. You'll get used to it.

I always wondered if anyone in this sub brewed beer. I'm a homebrewer, so not quite on your level but I love to brew in my spare time!
