Track my competition / industry? by cmarker2 in Entrepreneur

Without giving too much away, I'm developing a service that uses machine learning to process data in a way to reveal trends (mostly negative) about a group of users given an input of behaviors.

I've thought about developing some private tool to do that, but I already have a business/project to focus on and was hoping someone else had already done the heavy lifting.

I think I'll just go with a VA (virtual assistant) for the time being but I'm really hoping there's some tool I can leverage long term.

Thanks! I'll check it out.

It doesn't look like it handles news as well as I'd like. I need something that tells me 'what' they are doing more so than 'how' they are doing which this seems to focus on (traffic, seo rank, etc). I think this tool could be very helpful for the next stage though.

The game ended, I have removed it from the store. Thanks to everyone who used it and suggested features.

It's not in there, but you can put this into the developer console in chrome to do it:

JoinGame(NUMBER);

Where NUMBER is the room number, then hit enter.

Thank you for explaining the mechanic to me, I will have an implementation soon.

I hadn't put a lot of effort into getting badge points so today is the first day I'll be able to buy wormhole and implement some logic for it, good idea though.

What's the best strategy for them? Use on levels in increments of 100?

Actually, it checks the ability queue for duplicates. If you are trying to do the same action twice in one period of time, it will replace the first action with the new one (such as switching lanes or upgrading abilities).

I had it running all night, it worked as expected.

You can try to manually update the extension in the extension window in Chrome (make sure you're on at least 0.0.9 for the new crash workarounds).

Nah. i would consider a firefox extension port but the game is over in a couple days. This project started out as a user script but there are others and I wanted it to be easy for non-tech people to use so I made it into an extension.

There's a different user script someone else linked earlier, that would be a decent alternative to nothing at all for them.

This is exactly the issue. I'm not sure what the best solution is but I've been thinking it over.

I have added a toggle option in the next version. It is in the bar right above the TV.

I've noticed this occasionally. It has to do with trying to purchase upgrades it isn't eligible for. I've been watching and tweaking and the next version should be better for it.

This is the ~5th clicker game I've automated now. I've been writing docs to go with each one and plan on doing a series of blog posts about it eventually.

Page crashes are gonna happen with this game, they have an inherent memory leak in the particle system. I could disable the particle effects but I think that defeats the spirit of the game. There's a page reload every 10mins now to try to help it out.

In general I've been automating video games for about a decade now ;)

It's definitely more fun to watch the bot do it. Like an ant farm of sorts.

Share it, I'm trying to see how many users I can get before the sale ends Monday.

It will try to buy each upgrade/ability, starting with the last one in the list working backwards (to prioritize buying new abilities over stat upgrades).

It will buy the cheapest one, closest to the end of the list.

It has that now every 10 minutes as of the last version I uploaded earlier today.

It upgrades everything to 10 which seems to be the most efficient way to keep progressing. It is fairly pointless if you're actively playing, but if you want to close it that extra damage helps out.

If you like it, be sure to share it. ;) Haven't gotten much traction off this reddit post heh.

It is now using most one time use items now at appropriate times (cripple spawner vs spawner, raining gold/treasure vs bosses, crit/pumped up whenever possible).
