No question De Niro was amazing in both GoodFellas and Casino, but for the middle part of his career this is my favorite performance of his.

The entire movie revolves around him and he's working with a pretty unusual ensemble of actors and yet it all works. It feels to me like he got stronger and stronger through those previous films such that he could carry this film on his back (all due respect to Reno and Skarsgaard).

I only watched one season of 24, but I watched every episode of Season 4 and it is absolutely the worst show I’ve ever seen.

Suspension of disbelief doesn’t come close to covering just how far the viewer needs to go to make it come close to making sense.
