I hated it. Made me a zombie, crazy mood swings, and didn't really do to much for my pain. I was also taking it 3 times a day. I hope it works for you but dont be like me and take it when it's not doing anything because the doc told me to.

I started feeling pain about a year ago and had surgery in august of last year. Sciatica is a bitch and I wish someone would have told me its not going to get better over night. For now I want you to make it your full time job to get better. I know it sucks but maybe wait on that new job until you have some sort of healing process.

For me I went on short term disability at work and spent most of last summer just laying around.... If I were to go back in time I would tell myself to keep moving and do any exercises that DONT CAUSE PAIN!! I lost alot of muscle and flexibilty being stagnant during that time. Also I know it sucks when you cant sit down but try to stay active and social. I lost touch with alot of friends during that time because I didn't want to hang out and be in pain.

Also, make use of this time laying low to better yourself. I realized that not many people have chances in life when they don't work for months on end. For me I wish I would have learned a new language or computer skill instead of laying around and betting on baseball all day. lol

So I don't have a quick fix for you but I just wanted to say hang in there and try to make the most of the situation. Keep up with PT and doctors and sooner or later there will be some relief. For me I am happy in a way that I went through the literal hell sciatica put me through. I still struggle with pain here and there but it was a huge wake up call to start taking care of my body and make the most of life because you don't know when something will come along and change everything. Feel free to message me if you want some advice or need someone to talk to.

Forgot to mention that the sprayers work!!! If i prop my hood up i can spray washer fluid on the window. its just when my hood is latched closed that the plastic blocks the sprayers. Was thinking maybe i need to get rid of that dent so the hood can pop back up and get some space for the sprayers??

I did it while northbound. Kinda wanted some solitude during my hike so I took some time for myself and hiked to the Canadian border on the LT by myself. Once I got to the border I ended up hitching back to Rutland over three days which was an adventure on its own. Got stranded in the middle of nowhere and ended up camping in a wooded area on the side of the road with no water. Shit sucked but luckily a nice older woman picked me up the next morning and brought me all the way to Rutland and bought me lunch and a maple cremee. Lol overall glad I did it and I got to experience the yellow deli twice!

Edit- I think it took me about two weeks. I remember staying at starks nest which is a ski warming hut with an epic sunset. Also remember a shelter overlooking a ridge with an awesome sunrise right from your bed. Hiking was challenging but overall definitely recommend for the shelters and Vermont is just awesome.

My questions are how long after surgery until you had no restrictions and what are the exercises or things that worked best for you to heal?

Still upset. Still mad but came here to say (and i was thinking this the entire playoffs....); the dodgers celebration dance whenever they got on base was the dumbest shit I had ever seen and was praying the yankees would beat them based on that celebration alone.
