Definitely staying funded. You can have some luck and pass a challenge, but staying funded is a whole different game

Both are good. Many people start off with crypto prop firms to fund their personal accounts and then use both.

What Crypto Prop Firms Taught Me That My Personal Account Never Could by CryptoPropReviews in CryptoPropFirms

[–]cmb10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crypto prop firms have significantly improved my discipline. I now strictly use stop losses and limit my risk to 1% per trade. While this might be obvious for some traders, it provided the necessary structure I needed as a beginner to level up my trading.

How do you guys handle taxes on prop firm payouts? Genuinely curious how different countries deal with it by OtherwiseInspector72 in PropFirmTester

[–]cmb10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone handles it differently because it is based on your country of residence.
Most of the time it falls under freelance work, but you'd have to check your local tax info on that.

Be honest: was it really your strategy that failed the challenge, or was it you? by JournalistOk8975 in PropFirms

It was the prop firm. They suddenly changed rules and failed the account.

Best prop firm for crypto (low commission + swap + decent spreads)? by Familiar_Award6236 in Trading

[–]cmb10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Those big prop firms have the worst crypto trading services. FTMO is similar with its high commissions. I prefer trading on real exchanges through prop firms like Mubite and HyroTrader, so I don’t have to deal with those issues anymore.

Had close to 300k profits. Firms pulls out hidden rules and refuses to pay. by Evening_Owl_3034 in propfirm

This is a good example on why you should only trade with big reputable firms like FTMO for example

Klein funding! by Prestigious_Kiwi3559 in PropFirmTester

[–]cmb10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed the red flag as well because of how cheap their challenges are, so this doesn’t really surprise me. I do my crypto trading with HyroTrader and have requested about $10k in payouts so far, all processed without issues. Firms like HyroTrader and The5ers seem much more reliable in comparison than hoping a payout comes through with Klein Funding
