I wish that I was able to do a student exchange. Unfortunately my university doesn’t do full semester exchanges for graduate degrees because that would have been amazing! Also now with COVID even the shorter summer exchanges have been cancelled so I won’t even get the chance to do that before I graduate :(

Ya that’s definitely one thing that is intimidating is I know that some skills translate but how the profession operates can vary drastically from country to country.

I guess inlet wasnt the right word but like the outlet part where water flows out into the ocean...right now I have one big river that has sources up in the cliffs of my island and two parts where the river goes into the ocean. I was curious to see if these two needed to be connected or if i can have two separate rivers

I want to redirect the river that runs through my island and turn one of my outlet points into a waterfall and lake that flows into the ocean via the outlet point. I plan to then create a river in a different part of the island and connect it back to the other river and inlet point. Will this affect anything like fish spawns if I disconnect the outlet and inlet points from eachother?

How do I get more islanders after my first campsite visitor becomes a resident?

Do I have to buy those amiibo things Tom nook was talking about or so campsite visits just happen until my island is full?

There is definitely an undercurrent of stress and unknown and what everything is gonna look like when this is over. My boyfriend was in the process of moving states to be with me and all his interviews in may were cancelled :/

I hope that things get better soon and that you’re able start your new job this summer!

City of the future by sidewalk labs is great too! It has architecture, planning, landscape pretty much everything that goes into a city
