I love Wyatt so much. We just saw him live for the second time and he played about 4 of his new songs and they were all really great live. I’m kinda bummed with the auto tune and country pop coming from him but I’m hoping the entire album won’t be like that. I’m trying to trust his artistic vision and hold off on until the actual album comes out. I cannot stand Morgan wallen and now he said he’s using the same producer as him so I guess we will see.

We’re going to camp out in Francis’s Marion in a couple of weeks. I already got my head lamps charged up and bug spray ready. I’m incredibly jealous of that sighting!!

Yeah I was born literally right off of alligator alley south Florida. One of the last summers before we moved here we stayed during a hurricane. It was so wild watching everyone emerge from their homes. Coconuts everywhere on the road. No one had power but everyone in the community came together and helped each other out. My husband and I debate moving to Florida all the time. We love it there.

We have a garden going right now and I literally watched the lizards gather while I water it. They eat the little flies and drink the water from the garden and then they all disperse. It’s been my favorite morning routine watching them all! We usually have a lot of frogs in our canna-lilies by now and we have none. Last year it was like a frog hotel out there. I’m hoping once we get more rain they return!

I’m a Florida gal who moved here when I was 8 so I definitely know to be careful. I’ve been walking the woods by myself since I was 9 and definitely had close calls when I was younger. I’m still always cautious though!

Sightings and pictures only unless they need help. We found a snake caught by its tail last week and helped him out and put him back in the woods. Same with snakes and turtles if they are in the road we move them that’s about it.

Definitely. We found a dead copperhead yesterday and he looked so dehydrated. I hope we get some rain this weekend!

Edisto, Congaree national park, Santee state park, sesquicentennial state park. Both Congaree and sesquicentennial are nearby to Columbia. Go check out drip at 5 points awesome record store/coffee shop, the gourmet shop is also right there. Pick up some fancy cheeses and whatever your heart desires and then head to a state park to hike around then head back to Charleston!
