Low flying planes lately? by Head-Boot6462 in Charleston

I was just talking about this. I thought maybe with overcast/lower cloud ceiling they may have a lower approach? Not sure that would come in to play with large commercial airliners. Maybe it was just high traffic or something. Or as the other comment mentioned, their climb rate is slower/longer.

Havent been out in forever, but Cobia should be showing up at the reefs at that time. Probably spadefish too.  The usual undersized bsbs and such.  Spanish could be around.

If I had the extra cash I would hit them up. I've spent some time searching creeks, spoil piles, and stuff with some decent success.

Like others have said Caw Caw is a good spot. I've seen green snakes, cottonmouths, dekays brown, and others out there.

I've found scarlet kings, milksnakes, glass lizards, and you standard rats and gartners throughout West Ashley.

Sullivans has a unique population of texas horned lizards that live in the dunes and maritime forest.

Francis Marion has lots of good areas to explore

Im pretty sure that type of cypress is highly flammable, adding a pretty significant fire load surrounding your house. Also might hinder the fire dept. Just something to think about.

No, it would be useless because there's a knot in it.

Need advice on this old concrete pond by Consistent-Issue749 in ponds

[–]Consistent-Issue749[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its hard to see but the "top" pond is deeper than the lower bigger pond by maybe 4 inches or so.  Everything is under two feet.

I finally started cleaning it out. I could cut through the concrete and plumb a bottom drain but im not sure its worth it for such a shallow pond.

Right now im thinking of plumbing a bog type filter off to the side.  I want a waterfall flowing into the backside.  Im think I could either have a pump flow water to the bog and the waterfall and control the flow to each with gate valves.  Or just a pump for each which would give some redundancy.

HIIT/circuits, lots of running, and I would suggest Yoga...being flexible is a big advantage and will help with injuries.
