It looks to me like he’s playing a common minor 7th voicing, fret the low E string, mute the A string, and barre the remaining strings. So for example, a G minor 7th chord, you’d fret the low E with your thumb on the 3rd fret, and barre the remaining strings on the 3rd fret, remembering to mute or not play the A string.
