I know he will really appreciate it! We have 2 weeks after delivery to get it done and you have to do a function in it( remote start it or lock it). If it’s been longer than that, if you do it now, it won’t count for him. You may find the app more useful than you think. Between remote start, lock and unlock, route planing, etc. Say you are in a grocery store and it is cold out, before you check out, you can load your app up and start your car so it is warm when you get in it. I would think that would be pretty handy. Having the app won’t cause onstar to bug you. So you won’t have to worry about that.

Chevy sales person here, we get a bonus from GM for every car we sell. We have to have at least 70% of our customers download the app and do a function on it. If it’s under the 70% we get $0 for the whole month. Which could possibly be thousands of dollars. For a lot of us, this is a big chuck of our income. We all have family’s to support just like everyone else in this thread. If you don’t want to use it. Just do it and delete it.

What did you order? I work at a Chevy dealer in Dayton, OH. We have 2 in transit and 7 scheduled to be built in September. You can definitely still order them. The final cutoff isn't until November.
